1. Applies like a dream: When I spread it thinly with a spatula, it adheres beautifully to the skin. The texture is silky smooth, but it still has just enough luminous shine to look fresh and dewy, which I absolutely love. 2. No breakouts whatsoever: Since I have sensitive skin prone to redness and blemishes, I usually overthink switching foundations because I'm worried about triggering reactions. But this foundation doesn't cause any irritation, and I'm so grateful for that. 3. A gorgeous shade for fair complexions: I haven't tried other shades, but since I have fair skin, I chose this one. Even with just a thin, single layer, my complexion looks radiant and glowing. There's nothing really to complain about, but because the texture is so silky, it sets quickly once applied, so you need to work fast and blend it smoothly. When I apply it thinly with a spatula, I don't experience any clumping or uneven setting, but getting the amount right seems to be key. Apply a very thin layer using a spatula. I have sensitive skin with some texture, but I don't get major breakouts. My skin tone is around shade 17-19, so it's on the lighter side! Irritation: None at all. My skin feels so comfortable! Wear time: Medium to long (no darkening!) Application: Medium (works best with tools) Would I repurchase: Already have, and I plan to keep buying it! This is literally my holy grail foundation because my skin is so sensitive that I can't use just any product. Please don't discontinue this! The shade range is genuinely impressive too. My skin is fair and reactive, so usually if the formula is good, the shade doesn't match, or if the shade matches, the formula irritates me. But this one nails both! It does fade over time, but there's no darkening and it just works so well. I tested it with several application tools and it does require quite a bit of product, but applying it with a spatula and then tapping it in with a sponge looks the best. The adhesion is a bit weak since it transfers even with the lightest touch. About the shade: I have a naturally fair complexion, and this foundation shade is perfect for me—it's actually one tone lighter than my skin tone! The color is incredibly bright, almost ivory-toned. While I have fair, pale skin, I don't have a complexion that works well with pink undertones. But with this level of brightness and a yellow undertone, I have to say Dior Adolia really nails the color! About the formula: This foundation has a semi-matte texture. When you first pump it out, it has a fluid, watery consistency, but it sets and adheres to your skin almost immediately. It's really impressive how quickly it blends in. I have dry skin, and honestly, this product is quite drying. Don't get me wrong—if your skin is in good condition, this is genuinely an amazing product. But during seasons like fall and winter when dry skin acts up, if you don't moisturize well before applying it, the foundation can look patchy and flaky, almost like it's peeling off. That said, this is really the only downside I've experienced with it! Since this foundation is quite drying, those with dry skin especially need to prioritize a solid skincare routine! The day before I use this product, I make sure to exfoliate gently with an exfoliating toner, apply a hydrating essence, and finish with a rich moisturizer and cream to prep my skin.
