If you have a dry scalp, this shampoo is an absolute must-have. I was constantly dealing with flaking, but this shampoo completely turned things around for me. The balanced moisture level really does the trick for effective exfoliation. If you have oily hair, you can use it, but if your hair is very oily, it might be challenging since this shampoo has a bit of moisture to it. Spray a little water on your scalp first, then apply the shampoo. Massage it in thoroughly between your fingers and rinse well. I absolutely loved this shampoo! The fragrance is wonderful and it lingers beautifully throughout the day. My hair texture has noticeably improved, and I'm thrilled with how much volume and lather it creates. Plus, I've noticed significantly less hair shedding, which is a huge win for me. Unfortunately, this shampoo caused quite a bit of flaking on my scalp and made it feel itchy. I ended up mixing it with my regular shampoo to make it more tolerable, and while that helped somewhat, I still experienced noticeable flaking and itchiness. It wasn't the best fit for my scalp.

It does a great job of masking scalp odor. When I first used it, I thought it smelled similar to Dior perfume. Your hair texture improves right after use. It doesn't feel stiff after washing, and those pesky flyaways stay nicely in place. Since I have severely damaged hair, this product alone doesn't completely solve my issues, but it works so well that I don't even need to use a separate treatment before heading to work! I feel even more confident using this because it contains clinically proven active ingredients that address hair loss, excess oil, and flaking. The price point is definitely a consideration. At full retail price, there are honestly plenty of other great products in the same range, so it's definitely more of an investment compared to regular shampoo. The scent is definitely polarizing. If you prefer subtle fragrances, this might feel too strong for you. The fragrance itself is quite feminine and floral, so I think people will have pretty strong opinions about whether they like it or not. It really lives up to being a perfumed shampoo. I apply it, let it sit for a bit while I do other things, then rinse it out, and the scent stays noticeably strong even the next day!
