This is one of the pricier products from Derma Factory, but compared to other retinol options, it's affordable while still delivering impressive results. I felt confident trying this product because I'd been consistently using retinal products beforehand. It's best to start with a small amount and gradually increase usage to avoid potential irritation. Mixing it with a gentle hydrating cream works wonderfully—it lets you use it without any discomfort. While I don't use retinal products every single day, I've been faithful to them for years now, and I've noticed my skin stays remarkably free from wrinkles. I honestly can't think of any downsides. Since it's such a powerful formula, just make sure you're careful with how much you use each time. Lately, I've been mixing a hydrating cream, regenerating cream, retinal, and a tiny bit of petroleum jelly together, and the results have been noticeably better. That said, you might feel some warmth and there's potential for irritation, so it's really important to adjust based on your own skin's needs. When you do feel that warmth, applying aloe gel or calamine lotion helps calm things down nicely. I don't use this combination every single day though—it depends on how my skin is doing. I'm someone who actually saw results with Retinol 1000, and now I'm using Retinoid 4000. Sure, it can feel a bit intense, but my skin definitely responds to it. I'm careful not to overdo it though—I adjust how much I use based on how my skin feels that day. The pore-minimizing results are really noticeable, and my skin texture has improved so much. Don't push it too hard or your skin will freak out. If you have sensitive skin, you might want to skip this one. This product is absolutely amazing for regeneration and renewal! I love it so much. When I apply it to problem spots every evening, the dark spots and discoloration fade incredibly fast. There are retinol products at 1000 and 4000 strengths, but I don't experience much irritation with this one, so I keep using it! The formula is lightweight and hydrating. I started with just a tiny amount mixed in, and so far I haven't experienced any irritation or problems. I love how you can actually see the pores getting refined and the freckles fading away as you keep using this! If you don't let it absorb properly, the next product you apply will just push it around instead of layering nicely. Make sure to let it fully absorb before applying your next product!
