The finish felt sticky rather than smooth and powdery, which I didn't love. I've been using this product for about 7 years now because it applies beautifully, absorbs wonderfully, feels incredibly hydrating, soothes my skin, and doesn't irritate it at all. I have acne-prone and sensitive skin, so I highly recommend this to anyone with a similar skin type. There's nothing I'd change about it, which is why I'm still using it today. Love it! I think it's because I haven't tried other moisturizing creams, but even though I have oily skin, this worked great for me. And despite having sensitive skin, I barely experienced any irritation! Breakouts were mostly kept at bay, but I did notice a few pop up here and there sometimes. I apply this as the final step after using essences, toners, and everything else. I use just a tiny amount—seriously, less than you'd think you need—and gently spread it thin across my skin to let it absorb. If you apply more than a light essence on your toner, it tends to pill. You need to apply your toner and first essence lightly to avoid pilling, and if you layer additional serums or ampoules on top, it turns white and requires constant rubbing for it to absorb properly. The packaging doesn't include a spatula, which is disappointing for those who don't have one at home and would need to purchase it separately. When I apply it in the evening like a sleeping mask with the intention of creating that hydration barrier and then sleep, the moisture stays locked in beautifully until the next day, making it really great for those with very dry skin.
