I picked this up during the retinol craze, and I love using it like a toner mask. The application and feel are great - it has a rich, nourishing texture that's not too light. It's formulated with niacinamide, madecassoside, retinol, and caffeine to give your skin a real boost. What I really appreciate is that it comes with tweezers and you can just replace the refill container, which is super convenient. The results speak for themselves - when I stopped using it for a bit, I could definitely tell the difference in my skin. It's more about skin improvement than calming or barrier repair. Plus, the sheet mask stretches really well, so you can customize the fit for different areas of your face. The main issue I ran into was evaporation. Since I don't use it super frequently, it dried out pretty quickly. I also bought in bulk, and I noticed that different containers seemed to evaporate at different rates, which was frustrating. The Retinal pad is incredibly soft with excellent adhesion, and it absorbs the essence so well that it stays moist like a quality sheet mask and doesn't dry out quickly. The essence itself is gentle without any irritation, hydrating yet lightweight. I can apply it before makeup in the morning without any pilling or stickiness, so it works perfectly year-round. This is a product that anyone can use comfortably regardless of skin type. I'm especially happy with how convenient the refills are! Since this is a pad product, it seems to contain only a small amount of retinal, so I don't have high expectations for the retinal benefits. It provides deep hydration, and the moisturizing effect is so good that you might not need an extra serum afterward. Firmness Results: You won't see dramatic firmness after just one or two uses, but with consistent application, your skin texture becomes smoother and feels more lifted. I was interested in retinol because I was concerned about pores and skin elasticity, so I decided to try these retinal pads hoping they might help. Honestly though, the pads don't seem to make much of a difference. I think serums or creams with retinol tend to deliver more noticeable results. The product dries out quickly, and I don't see or feel any visible improvements on my skin. It stretches nicely to the sides and adheres like a mask, which I really love. Plus, there's no sticky residue at all. If you use it for too long, the toner eventually evaporates and it becomes stiff and uncomfortable.
