When you apply the essence first and then layer a gel mask on top, you'll experience an even more intense hydrating effect. I use gel masks regularly, so I didn't have any trouble applying it to my face. What really impressed me is that while some gel masks are slippery and tend to slide right off, this one has excellent adhesion and stays put. Compared to other gel masks out there, that's a huge advantage. The biggest drawback is definitely the price—it's too expensive to use every single day without feeling guilty about it. I also didn't notice a significant difference between this and the Collagen Firming Mask from the same brand and line. Even though it's a retinol mask, I'm not expecting dramatic retinol results from a mask pack, so I'm really just using it as a way to give my at-home skincare routine a little extra attention. I'm focusing more on the gel mask aspect than the retinol benefits. After using this mask, my face has such a radiant glow. It's a collagen mask that feels lighter and more comfortable compared to other brands. The sheet is quite thin, and for a collagen mask, it dries out really quickly. I actually think this product is even better than the red one!!!! I applied it before bed, slept, and when I woke up, my skin felt incredibly firm and bouncy - I could immediately see my pores were noticeably smaller. It's absolutely fantastic! It's just not enough... I'm serious, it's really not enough.... My face is on the smaller side, and there's not enough coverage on my forehead and chin area. Could you please make it bigger? I'd really appreciate it. This was a solid, reliable product that didn't really stand out as particularly amazing or disappointing. It does exactly what you'd expect it to do. I didn't give it five stars because there's something wrong with it—I just reserve my top rating for products I absolutely love and think are truly exceptional. I apply vitamin C and use this product, and I can actually see my skin looking brighter the very next day! The price is quite steep, so I wish I could use it more often because it's such a shame to have to skip it.

It's nice to experience something different once in a while. The ingredient formula seems pretty solid to me. There are quite a few things to watch out for. You really need to make sure the embossed side touches your skin properly, so you have to be careful when applying it from the start. Also, if you have sensitive skin, the hydrogel itself can be quite irritating just from the contact, so you might want to skip this one. The split design for the upper and lower face is both a pro and a con. On one hand, it's great because it lets your facial muscles move freely, so you can talk comfortably and it feels amazing. But on the other hand, it's a bit annoying having to carefully position each piece separately. And honestly, the biggest letdown is that it's not very hydrating. This gel-type mask is thinner than the collagen sheet masks you see everywhere these days, and it adheres to the skin really well. Since the gel sheet is so thin, the cooling effect isn't as strong as I'd hoped. The mask doesn't have a ton of hydration, so it leaves your skin feeling fresh and clean with an overall lightweight feel. It's a retinol mask, but it's surprisingly gentle—I didn't experience any irritation, though I also didn't notice major results from the treatment. I didn't feel any of the typical mask benefits like moisture boost, refined pores, or improved skin elasticity. Compared to other gel masks, this one has a noticeably thinner texture, which I really appreciated because it doesn't slide down even when I'm sitting around with it on. The size also fits my face perfectly with no excess material, and after about 20 minutes, it starts turning transparent—roughly a third of it becomes see-through. I could have left it on longer until it was completely transparent, but since it's thinner than other gel masks, I was worried it might draw moisture out of my skin once it became fully transparent, so I removed it after 20 minutes. After taking off the mask, it felt fresh and wasn't sticky, which was nice. However, because it's so thin, I didn't really feel a strong effect from it, so I'm not planning to repurchase.
