The best thing about Dewcel Salad Pads is that they're completely vegan! With the "NO animality" mark, there are no animal-derived ingredients and no animal testing, so you can feel good about your purchase ethically. The pads have an embossed texture that's really effective for removing impurities and exfoliating dead skin, and since they're made from plant-based ingredients, they're gentle on your skin. True to the "for a vegetable time" concept, they feel so fresh and nourishing. Because they're pads, you save time applying toner, and the container seals really well so you can keep them hydrated right down to the last one. Since these are pads, they're pricier than regular toners. When you think about how many times you can use them relative to the amount you get, it does feel like a lot to spend. Also, sometimes when you pull out a pad, they stick together or tear, which is frustrating. The embossed texture is great for exfoliation, but on sensitive days it can feel a bit harsh on your skin. It's nice that the vegan formula means the scent isn't overpowering, but honestly I wish it had a fresher, more invigorating fragrance. This product does a wonderful job smoothing away flaky, dry skin and refining your skin texture. I even use it as a makeup remover substitute during touch-ups throughout the day. The scent might be hit or miss for some people. This cleansing pad removes makeup residue beautifully and can be used as a toner pad too, so I grabbed it at a great price from the duty-free shop. The pads are nice and thick, holding plenty of product, so one sheet is more than enough for a thorough cleanse. I've noticed it's really effective at removing makeup buildup, so I've been using it mainly in the evenings and I'm genuinely happy with it. There's a slightly artificial vegetable scent that comes through, but honestly it's not bothersome enough to be a dealbreaker. The texture looks refined and smooth, and it feels so hydrating that I used it comfortably throughout the winter without any tightness or dryness. There really aren't any downsides to mention. The exfoliating results were so visible that I could see the dead skin literally disappearing before my eyes! The exfoliating toner worked amazingly not just on my face, but also on my legs and elbows - I noticed the difference right away. After using it, my face felt hydrated without any tightness, and the heat sensation calmed down too! The pads feel a bit thick, which made the adhesion weaker than I'd hoped. I wish there were dedicated tweezers included to make application more hygienic and convenient. I also wish there was a bit more essence inside the pads.
