This moisturizer feels incredibly hydrating and doesn't shift or smudge even when applied before makeup. Since I have oily skin, I only use it before applying my matte foundation, and it works perfectly for that purpose. Instead of a cooling effect, I experience a stinging sensation every single time I apply it. Sometimes it's just mild irritation, but other times it feels so intense that I worry my skin is reacting badly. The level of stinging varies depending on my skin condition, but today it was so uncomfortable that I had to fan my face with paper for about 10 minutes to calm it down. What's strange is that my skin doesn't become red or inflamed, so I'm not sure which ingredient is causing this reaction. Unfortunately, the way this product feels on my skin is disappointing, and I don't think I'll repurchase it.
