The coverage is excellent, and the shade is perfectly balanced—not too dark at all. I wish there was more product in the container, but honestly, I've felt the same way about every cushion I've tried. If you have acne-prone skin, sometimes it's hard to figure out which products don't work for you. I have really problematic skin with lots of folliculitis on my chin and jawline. Since winter made my skin so dry, I was using products for dry skin types, but they made everything look so shiny and greasy. I decided to switch to this and I'm really impressed—it looks so much more matte and the coverage is fantastic. I loved it so much after trying just one that I went ahead and ordered three more. Everyone says it's great for breakouts, but honestly I didn't notice much improvement. While I appreciate that it doesn't feel greasy, my skin got really dry and my cheekbones turned red, so I had to stop using it for a bit. Shade 21 is bright and my mom loves how it looks on me, but I found it a bit unfamiliar for my taste. I didn't expect this from a brand that specializes in acne-fighting products, but it seems like my breakouts started after using this. I've been dealing with acne my whole life—severe cystic acne as a teenager and then persistent small bumps as an adult. I've taken medication and had laser treatments, and after eight laser sessions I finally thought my acne was gone for good. About two months after finishing treatment, I carelessly started using this product, and the small bumps came right back. It took over three weeks before they finally disappeared again. I haven't changed any other skincare products, and my lifestyle and diet haven't really changed either, so I'm wondering if this is the culprit. But then again, my skin didn't have a dramatic reaction right after applying it, so maybe it's not? I'm also wondering if the coverage is so heavy that my skin can't breathe underneath it. I really want to use this because the coverage is amazing, but I'm too scared of triggering more breakouts. I downloaded an app to check the ingredients to see if something doesn't work for my skin, but there are so many ingredients listed that it's hard to figure out. Today I haven't had any new breakouts in a while, but my complexion looked so dull that I only applied it to my forehead and cheekbones, and now my forehead feels a bit itchy. I've settled on this product just like others mentioned... honestly, I was shocked when I first applied it because the coverage is so much better than foundation. My biggest skin concern is enlarged pores on my nose, and this conceals them beautifully. I'm really happy with how clean it looks. I usually wear shade 23, and I love how it applies with just the right brightness and looks natural on my skin. It seems a bit lighter than The Face Shop 23, but compared to other brands' shade 23, it's actually darker, which makes it blend seamlessly. My mom bought it and just handed me the refill... I haven't tried touch-ups yet, but since it has a dewy finish rather than a matte one, I think layering it would work great. The staying power is really solid too. It's darker than other brands' shade 23 (though honestly, other brands tend to run way too light, almost like a 21... haha). I've been a cushion nomad for 29 years, and this one finally solved everything for me! I have redness-prone skin with dehydrated patches and oily zones, plus enlarged pores across a wide area. With just one swipe of the puff, I can cover almost all the redness and pores beautifully. When I used other cushions, no matter how perfect my skincare routine was, my skin would get flaky and dry by afternoon. But this one? Even in cold weather like now, there's absolutely no dryness at all! The puff itself is incredibly soft and fluffy too!
