I've been using Dr. Bronner's products since 2024 and haven't experienced any major skin issues. The black tea scent is quite strong and straightforward, which honestly made me second-guess whether I was actually washing or not. Because of that, I found myself using less product than expected. That said, after using it, I didn't experience any uncomfortable skin tightness. Since I've tried a few other scents from this brand before, I just trusted it and went with it. The fragrance is definitely a love-it-or-hate-it thing depending on your preferences. I wish it came in a pump bottle instead of the current format. Overall, it's a solid body wash that cleanses well, but the strong scent wasn't really my cup of tea. I had already finished a full bottle of the peppermint version when I bought this one from the store. I trusted the brand, but I made a mistake with the fragrance choice. The black tea scent threw me off so much that I ended up barely using it, which became a real drawback. I couldn't just let it sit there unused, so even though it's winter, I decided to pick up the peppermint scent as a solution. Scent: I think this fragrance is pretty divisive depending on personal preference! And honestly, it's not a long-lasting body wash in terms of scent. I don't really pay attention to fragrance anyway, and I use unscented body emulsion, so it works perfectly fine for me. Texture: It has a really watery, liquid consistency! Because of that, I pump it directly onto my shower pouf and use it that way. Since it's so liquid-like, I find myself going through it faster, haha! The lather is great though! Moisture: My skin usually dries out pretty quickly after I shower, but with this product, I don't feel like it's drying out super fast. That said, it's not incredibly moisturizing either. It's just... nicely balanced, you know? Plus, I'm not a fan of that slippery, sticky feeling after washing, and this doesn't have that at all!! Bottle: I usually buy multiple bottles when there's a sale and swap out the pumps to use them. Value for Money: The price is really reasonable when you buy it online, so I think it's a great product for the cost. In the summer, they have this in a refreshing scent option, and when you wash with that, it feels absolutely heavenly! The watery texture means you end up using it up quickly, which is kind of a downside. And honestly, it doesn't have any particularly special standout benefits, which is a bit disappointing. It cleanses really well and has a pleasant scent that doesn't overpower. The moisturizing effect is solid too. It does a great job of keeping body irritation and blemishes under control. The ingredients are excellent and you get plenty of product. The scent isn't quite Earl Grey, but I really enjoy it. The fragrance is definitely a love-it-or-leave-it situation for some people. If you prefer something gentler, the unscented baby soap option works great too. I absolutely loved the scent of this body wash! The lather is fantastic too. I broke out in body acne after using this product. The photos I shared show the smaller size, but I felt wasteful not finishing the larger bottle, so I kept using it despite the breakouts getting worse on my back.

I actually use a different cleanser just for my back because this formula does tend to feel a bit heavy and rich.
