I used to use Dove soap, but I decided to try this and I'm really impressed. The scent is subtle and lovely. The packaging is just paper, so... honestly, I wasn't planning to use it right away, but my baby kept chewing on it and ended up making a hole in it, so I just went ahead and started using it. Dr. Bronner's solid castile soap bar. I used to use the liquid version, but wanted to try the solid form, and it definitely delivers that satisfying, squeaky-clean feeling without leaving my skin tight or parched. I love that I can use it from head to toe in one go—well, except for my hair—and the subtle, lingering scent is just perfect. Unfortunately, Dr. Bronner's rose scent isn't what I was hoping for. It smells more like soap with just a hint of rose rather than fresh rose petals. If you're really after a fragrant cleanse, this probably isn't the one for you.
