This sugar-based cleanser has a rich brown color and feels incredibly smooth with no grainy texture. It creates a nice lather, though it dissipates fairly quickly since the formula isn't super dense. Compared to regular tea tree cleansers, the hydration is noticeably better, but the tea tree oil concentration is lower at 1% versus the standard 2%. That said, it's still effective at calming folliculitis. The scent is subtle and barely lingers after your shower, which is perfect if you prefer something understated. The lather isn't super generous, so using a shower pouf or washcloth means you'll go through it faster. Honestly, washing with your hands works better. I also noticed the exfoliating power isn't as strong as I'd hoped. I actually mix this with my regular tea tree cleanser. - ja********Da dầuDa nhạy cảmBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenLỗ chân lông toĐược đề xuất17/04/2025 (UTC+0)
I had quite a bit of folliculitis on my body when I accidentally tried a Dr. Bronner's product, and it calmed down completely in just one day. Of course, it didn't disappear entirely, but it improved significantly and felt so much better. I got curious about why, so I looked into it and found out that among Dr. Bronner's products, only the tea tree and eucalyptus varieties have proven effectiveness against staph bacteria. Folliculitis on the body comes in two types: bacterial and fungal. The bacterial kind responds well to antibiotics, while the fungal type is actually a yeast-based folliculitis that requires antifungal medication instead of antibiotics. The tricky part is that it's temporary, so once you stop taking the medication, it comes back. I haven't been to a dermatologist in ages, but if you're feeling stressed about folliculitis, I'd definitely recommend giving this a try. Dr. Bronner's is a liquid soap formula, so it's simple and gentle on the skin. That said, the cleansing power is actually quite strong. The consistency is very thin, almost like water. You do get some lather when you rub it in your hands, but it's not super bubbly. So you end up using a bit more product than you might expect. The scent varies by type. The tea tree version doesn't have a strong fragrance, and there's barely any lingering scent. There's a regular tea tree soap, but this one is from Sugar Shop, so it has a brown color like dark brown sugar. There are no exfoliating particles or anything like that in it. So honestly, I can't really tell if it's effective as a gentle exfoliating cleanser. Dr. Bronner's contains plant-based oils and people say it's moisturizing, but every time I use it, my skin feels dry. Plus, since the lather isn't very rich, I find myself using way more product than I should just to get that satisfying foamy feeling when I wash. If you buy a foaming pump dispenser separately and use it with this product, you can get much richer, fluffier lather. - da********Da hỗn hợpDa mụnDa dị ứngLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenQuầng thâm mắtNếp nhăn / Độ đàn hồiLỗ chân lông toĐược đề xuất25/11/2023 (UTC+0)
This cleanser feels refreshing and creates a nice lather. The cleansing power is really impressive! Honestly, I can't think of any downsides. I love how gentle it is on my skin! - sw*******Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmDa mụnĐược đề xuất29/05/2023 (UTC+0)
It feels refreshingly light and smooth without any greasy residue, really gentle on the hair. When I use it as a shampoo, it cuts through oil beautifully! The scent is... honestly, this one smells more like woodsy notes than tea tree, which is a bit unexpected. - ju********Da hỗn hợpĐược đề xuất18/05/2020 (UTC+0)
If you've given up trying to use Dr. Bronner's Pure Castile Soap as an all-in-one cleanser for both face and body, sugar soap is a fantastic alternative. What really impressed me is how much less tight and dry my skin feels right after cleansing, and the sugar granules provide such a gentle daily exfoliation without any irritation. I didn't realize I had a sensitivity to lavender oil until I tried the tea tree version, and honestly, I love how fresh and invigorating it feels. The price is pretty steep for the amount you get. When I use it as a body cleanser, I find myself reaching for quite a bit more product than I'd expect. The formula is quite sticky because of the sugar content, which means it won't work in a foaming pump dispenser. I like to add it to my bath, and while it doesn't look particularly fancy swirled in the water, the sweet fragrance makes the whole experience feel so indulgent and fun.
