I have sensitive skin, so I'm really picky about choosing skincare products and tend to stick with what works for me. I've gone through about 10 tubes of this one, and honestly, I feel anxious without it. I apply it before bed, and when I wake up the next morning, I can see that my irritated skin has calmed down beautifully. Plus, after using this overnight treatment, my makeup applies so much more smoothly and evenly the next day! I really can't find any downsides! Skin Type: Combination and sensitive. My cheeks have a particularly weak moisture barrier and are prone to redness, heat sensitivity, and discomfort. Heavy butters, oils, and rich creams trigger breakouts. My skin gets oily in summer and extremely dry underneath in winter. I received this sleeping mask for free and hesitated to use it because some reviews mentioned it was too sticky and caused breakouts. I let it sit unused until I noticed the expiration date was approaching. I first tried it last winter. Initially, just like the reviews warned, it felt very sticky and made my face look shiny, with my hair constantly sticking to it. Not impressed at first. But as I kept using it, I gradually adapted. I started applying it whenever my skin felt parched and before bed, and I experienced zero irritation or breakouts whatsoever. The hydration was fantastic. During winter, my regular moisturizer alone wasn't cutting it, but adding this mask made all the difference. I've decided to use it specifically as a nighttime treatment during the colder months. I'm definitely repurchasing. It does transfer onto my pillowcase, so I place a thin gauze cloth or towel on the part of the pillow that touches my face before bed, which is a bit inconvenient but manageable. Of course, I have to wash the towel daily. After doing this every night since last winter, I've completely adapted to the routine and now I even adjust the towel position in my sleep. Since it transfers onto the pillowcase, I place a thin towel on the area where my pillow touches my face. I've tested this multiple times before sharing my thoughts. Fermented products just don't seem to work well for my skin. If fermented ingredients don't suit you, I'd skip this one. The first application was fine, but when I used more product the second time, my face felt itchy and irritated, so it's clearly not the right match for me. Compared to when my skin is in good condition, the next day my entire face was red and noticeably puffy. Because the ingredients are so good, I didn't want to give up. On my third try, I used just a tiny amount—basically just a drop or two like you would with an essence—and it worked great. It seems this product only tolerates that minimal amount; using it as a sleep mask in normal quantities just isn't possible. That said, many reviews mention this is a holy grail product for people it works for, so if it suits your skin, it could be absolutely fantastic. The formula really packs in all the good stuff. Unlike typical masks where you apply, wait, and rinse off, this is a sleep mask you just cleanse away the next morning, which is convenient. While the price isn't cheap, it's currently a buy-one-get-one promotion. Since it's a fermented, nutrient-rich formula, you don't need to use much product, so it lasts a long time. If it works for your skin, this could actually be a great value investment. True It's sticky. If you dislike sticky textures, hate hair sticking to your face, or have shedding pets like cats or dogs, I wouldn't recommend this. The hair really does stick all over your face. Breakouts can occur if fermented ingredients don't agree with your skin. I'd suggest applying less of your regular skincare routine before using this, then layering it on top. I do use multiple products, but when I apply everything as usual and then add this mask, it doesn't absorb well. I decided to try this serum-based skincare product because everyone was raving about it, but honestly, it has absolutely nothing going for it. I was willing to overlook the sticky, tacky texture if the results were worth it, but instead my skin turned red and started itching constantly. I thought maybe it was just an off day for my skin, so I gave it another shot later on, and the itching came right back. I'm not a fan of heavily fragranced products anyway, and this one's scent was disappointing too.

That's why I find myself reaching for this sleep mask all the time. I seriously can't recommend it enough! I can't really think of any downsides. If I had to nitpick, it might be a bit too gentle for those with very dry skin. I received this as a gift and I'm really happy with it! It applies beautifully and feels comfortable throughout the day. The best part is that it washes away cleanly the next morning without any hassle. I wish there was more product in the container. I like to apply a generous amount, so I'm disappointed by the limited quantity.
