I've been using this product consistently for 5 years. Whenever I try other products in the bifidobacterium line, I break out in spots and they just don't work for my skin. But this brand? I trust it completely and keep coming back. The lightweight formula absorbs beautifully when I gently tap it into my skin. Sometimes the factory runs out of stock, so I've had to buy from other retailers, and honestly, my skin hasn't been happy about it. There were a couple of times I couldn't get it at all, so now I always keep extra bottles on hand just in case. I really hope you keep making this amazing product because I want to keep using it for years to come. I'm not usually super focused on skincare, but people constantly compliment my skin. The only product I've actually stuck with and made a permanent part of my routine is this essence, and I genuinely believe that's made all the difference. It's become such an essential part of my life, and I'm so grateful for it. This is my honest review after purchasing and testing this product with my own money. I spotted it on Hwaehae and kept thinking about trying it, so I grabbed it when there was a great discount. First off, I loved that the glass bottle looks so luxurious and elegant when it arrived, and the dropper is really easy to use. What really impressed me is how well it refines my skin texture - after just three days of using it, my complexion looks so much more refined and my skin tone has brightened up noticeably! My only wish is that it absorbs well but feels a bit too thin. I would have preferred it to have a slightly thicker, more tacky consistency. I'd definitely recommend buying it when the discount is at its highest - Hwaehae has some amazing deals! Perfect for oily skin. The texture spreads beautifully. Even though it's an ampoule, it has the consistency of a toner or essence. It flows like water and will drip off if you don't pat it in quickly. I love that it's not sticky at all and absorbs right into the skin. I have acne-prone skin, but some areas are extremely dry. Depending on the season and my skin condition, it can get incredibly dry or become oily. So while I hate anything too sticky, I need something that hydrates from within without leaving my skin feeling parched, which is why ampoules are important to me. This doesn't feel like an ampoule at all to me—it's more like a watery toner or essence. The feel is decent, but honestly, there are so many better ampoules at similar price points that deliver better ingredients and deeper hydration. I won't be repurchasing. At first, I was cautious because my skin is sensitive and I wasn't sure how it would react to the ingredients. I started with a small amount and was pleasantly surprised that I didn't experience any irritation or breakouts. However, after that initial period, the results weren't as impressive as I'd hoped. After using it for a while, I felt like it was too harsh for my skin. I have sensitive skin, but I didn't experience any breakouts or irritation when using this product! I also have oily skin, and after applying the essence, I definitely noticed that my face produces less oil. The application is smooth and it absorbs beautifully - I'm really impressed! At first, I felt my face was a bit dry when I started using it, so from then on I made sure to follow up with a good moisturizing routine. The skin didn't feel dry after using it, which means it absorbed beautifully! Plus, the dropper bottle design made it so convenient to use. I repurchased this product because I remembered having good results with it years ago. But it seems like it's not working for my skin anymore. When you catch it on sale, the price is really reasonable for a BPD product. The absorption is slow. Even though I patted it in thoroughly, it just rolls off like dead skin. When I apply it in the evening and wake up in the morning, it feels like my skin barrier is strengthened and protected, you know? My skin texture definitely feels smoother~ On the other hand, when I apply it in the morning and then layer sunscreen on top, the essence and sunscreen clump together and shift around, so after trying that a few times, I switched to only using it at night. Some people mentioned their skin tone improved, but I didn't notice that level of change myself. But I definitely felt that my skin becomes softer after sleeping and I experience less oiliness!! The thing is, if you apply sunscreen right after, it tends to shift and clump... Other than that, there really wasn't anything else I didn't like~ If you're familiar with product layering and formulations, you could try adjusting the order or experimenting with different application methods! I bought both the essence and the ampoule and have been using them. I got them during the Hwaehae sale at a great price. Since I tend to have significant redness, I was trying out everything that claimed to help with redness when something amazing happened. In just about a week and a half to two weeks, my redness improved so much. I'm honestly shocked enough to be writing this review because they work so well. The ampoule is nice too, but the essence is personally my favorite. At first, I thought I just scored a good deal on an affordable essence, but I notice the difference day by day. My redness is really fading away. I bought the essence and ampoule together, but when I use both at the same time, they feel heavy on my skin. Plus, they don't really eliminate tightness or dryness. It absorbs quickly without any sticky feeling, and I'm already on my fifth bottle because I love it so much! I really can't find anything to complain about. There are no harmful ingredients, and I highly recommend it! I always grab it when there's a sale on social media! Wishing everyone gets that gorgeous, glowing skin!
