This formula is so gentle and hydrating that my skin looks radiant right after application. The ingredients seem to be higher quality compared to standard foundations. I have fair skin that's shade 19 or lighter, but this BB cream runs way too dark for me. I think even shade 21 would be too dark. That's why I mix it with a brightening primer to get the right tone. At first, I thought it was gentle, so I used it regularly. The price was really reasonable, the ingredients looked solid, and the hydration was impressive. After using it for a while, the essence and BB cream start to separate when I apply it, which is frustrating. Plus, since I have sensitive skin, it made my skin feel itchy and uncomfortable.

I used it a few times but stopped. I'm not sure if this is normal. When I shook the tube, I heard a sloshing sound. After looking into it, I found out that the oil and water can separate, so I was told to shake it before use. But shaking it once or twice isn't enough—I have to shake it every single time I use it. Even after shaking it dozens of times, it never mixes properly and keeps making that water sound. I don't know if it's just mine, but I was really excited because everyone said it was so hydrating. There's a constant clear liquid—whether it's oil or water—that doesn't blend in with the base. When I first used it, product kept pouring out, and I figured that might be normal since other base products do that sometimes. But even now, after using half the bottle, the liquid keeps separating out, though not as dramatically as before. Since this is an oil-based formula, you need to shake it well before each use. I have dry skin and I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't leave my skin feeling parched. The color keeps getting darker over time. If you don't shake it properly, only the liquid comes out. The coverage is quite weak.
