I never thought I'd use a body emulsion in my life, but as I got older, I developed keratosis pilaris and realized how important hydration is for my skin. I had no intention of using body oil either, but I tried this product as a sample by chance, and all my preconceptions disappeared. The fluid texture spreads smoothly and absorbs faster than expected without feeling greasy or sticky. It's actually easier to apply than a body emulsion. The fragrance is decent enough, but I wish the scent profile and some other ingredients were better. I used to go for Dermavie's peach scent, but this time I picked up Purple Pig and I'm loving the fragrance! It's such a lightweight oil that doesn't feel heavy on the skin, so I've already gone through several bottles. The scent is definitely something where people's preferences can really vary. Even when your skin is completely dry after showering, this glides on beautifully and absorbs quickly. You can get dressed right away without any sticky residue or that uncomfortable clinging feeling. Because the formula is lightweight, the moisturizing power isn't quite as intense as heavier oils. The scent is subtle and lovely. It doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy or slick, so I find myself reaching for it constantly. I really can't find anything to complain about. I'm completely satisfied. The fragrance is wonderful and the price is great too.

After showering, I was looking for something that would hydrate my body and could also be used on my face. I'd been really happy with a body wash from the Dermavy line before, so I decided to try their oil product. They had three different oil options, and I chose the one without pore-clogging ingredients. [Good Ingredients] With 99% naturally-derived ingredients excluding mineral oil, parabens, dyes, phenoxyethanol, and triethanolamine, I noticed a lot of oils with names I actually recognize from cooking when I checked the ingredient list. Since it's an oil, the formula is basically all oils, which is kind of funny. It can also be used as a hair oil, and honestly, I feel like it could work as a cleanser too. I'm definitely going to try that. [Texture] It has a watery oil formula that absorbs quickly when I massage it into my body after showering, leaving my skin feeling hydrated without any stickiness. Other oils I've tried absorb slowly and feel slippery, so I can't get dressed right away. This one absorbs fast, which makes it so convenient to use. [Scent] On the official store page, there were two options: peach and fig. I went with the fig scent because it had more reviews, and honestly, it's not bad at all. Some people say it smells like a Diptyque fragrance or a specific designer perfume, but it's basically a fig scent that you'd find in typical beauty products. The ingredient list is satisfying, but I do feel like the hydration from just the oil alone isn't quite enough. I end up mixing it with a cream to apply it. I'm not sure if I'd repurchase it.

I used to avoid applying body emulsion anywhere except my legs because of this problem. Recently, I wanted to try gua sha on my body, so I looked around for products with great reviews. This one had the best feedback, so I decided to give it a shot, and it's become my holy grail product! I've been using it for about a week now, and I haven't experienced a single breakout. My skin feels noticeably softer too! My go-to body emulsion is usually L'Occitane, but every time I buy it at the department store, I'm disappointed by the amount you get for the price. Plus, whenever I try gua sha on my upper body, breakouts would appear. The fragrance lasts so much longer than L'Occitane! I usually apply it at night before bed, and by morning, the scent is completely gone. But with this product, the fragrance actually stays! Some people might not like such a strong scent, but I love it, so it's perfect for me! What I really appreciate is that it's not an overpowering perfume-like fragrance, but rather a subtle, lingering body scent that's absolutely lovely. If you have similar skin concerns like mine, you really need to try this! I honestly can't think of any downsides. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who hasn't had good experiences with other body emulsions. I always use this together with gua sha, and the results are even better when combined with the oil! I'm really impressed! It's not sticky at all, and while the scent is quite sweet, the hydration level is just right. I've even found it works great when I mix it with my emulsion for extra nourishment. Just a heads up—you need to press the pump carefully when dispensing. If you press too hard, it really shoots out! It's a bit funny but definitely something to watch out for. It's absolutely perfect when I use it on damp hair!
