I was really frustrated because I tried everything—moisturizing cream from home, foot cream I bought—but nothing seemed to work. Then my friend recommended a cream with urea in it, so I decided to give it a shot! The results were incredibly fast. As I massage it in, my heels feel like they're becoming soft and smooth again! The absorption is slow, so after applying it, I can't walk around unless I put socks on. I wish it had a nicer fragrance, but it just smells like regular cream. When I mix it with oil and apply it, the hydration is doubled!

I write them all at once when I have time, so there may be some typos or grammatical errors. I appreciate your understanding (it takes 1-2 hours to write). Today I'm reviewing a urea cream. Honestly, it's a product sold at pharmacies, beauty retailers, and even distributed at health centers. I looked at the ingredient lists of several products, and the urea concentration doesn't seem to differ much between pharmacies and regular stores. However, the 9.8% marking appears to be the maximum concentration. This means this product contains that threshold level. So even sitting on my desk, the packaging design isn't bad, and I purchased this product because it had significant discounts. Urea cream is well-known as something grandmothers apply to very hardened heels. As I entered my mid-forties, my heels started becoming oddly hardened too, but I didn't buy this for my heels. Actually, I purchased it hoping it might help with pigmentation on my finger joints. Urea cream is used on elbows, knees, ankle bones, and soles of feet. These areas share a characteristic (except soles) of being wrinkled joints on the body. So I thought, why wouldn't it work on finger joint pigmentation? Therefore, I conducted an experiment applying it only to my right hand's first knuckles while leaving my left hand untreated, from August 1st to September 5th, approximately one month. To conclude, urea cream does not help with pigmentation on fingertips and finger joints (or toes). And I probably won't see much effect on others' knee or ankle bone pigmentation either. Everyone knows urea cream works well on soles, elbows, knees, and ankle bones, but the truth is it actually works best on areas where skin has hardened from friction. Even just twenty years ago, housewives would scrub floors on their knees after vacuuming, and families would sit cross-legged eating meals, so their ankle bones touched the floor with every meal, living a lifestyle with constant friction. Because these areas hardened from such friction, manufacturers advertised effectiveness in these four places. But now people use wet mops, mop handles, steam cleaners, or robot vacuums, so knees don't touch floors during housework anymore. And since very few families eat sitting on the floor now, far fewer people have thickened ankle bones from this. With lifestyle changes over 20-30 years, urea cream only works effectively on two places: elbows and soles. Of course, those with occupational knee bending still need it for their knees. Hardened cuticles on fingers are a different issue, so I wonder if people should use different ointments instead of urea. I have two fingers with hardened, thick cuticles, and I hoped this product would soften these hardened areas, but it didn't work. Actually, these hardened cuticles seem to result from genetic changes (beauticians' cuticles sometimes harden from chemical exposure causing skin changes) rather than friction, so it's different. My nail cuticle cells were damaged because my nail was once torn out. Though it's only been a month, you might say that's too quick a conclusion, but look at my elbow photos. In just one month, my left and right elbows show a dramatic difference. Since I sit at a desk daily, there's improvement, but due to lifestyle habits, it could darken again, so I plan to switch to a urea cream with lower concentration. In comparison, look at my knees and toes. There's almost no visible change between right and left sides. Yet I can't say there's absolutely no effect. Because I have atopic sensitive skin. Even though urea doesn't seem like it, it's an irritating ingredient for atopic skin. So if these areas' skin isn't thickened, my skin probably recognized this as irritation and darkened. Did my knees thicken from when I used to scrub on them? Do today's teenagers and twenty-somethings have thinner knee skin since they've never lived a kneeling lifestyle? Anyway, there's no change on my knees and toes. I'm wondering if the pigmentation decreased slightly or not. I'll monitor my knees for another month. Actually, knee pigmentation has complex causes. Some comes from friction due to kneeling, but some also comes from scars from falls. So it's likely one product alone won't solve this. I have no complaints about the product. (Though if modern people only use it on elbows, even a smaller size would work. Before finishing it, my elbows will be completely improved, so I'll probably switch to lower concentration urea). Don't read the full review, just look at my elbow comparison photos. Urea really does work on pigmentation. I'm telling people who use urea for pigmentation in various places: pigmentation responds differently depending on the symptom and location. Elbows, knees, ankle bones: urea. Acne and scar marks: melasma cream (hydroquinone) or vitamin C. Front neck, inner arms, back neck, knee creases, back of knees: these are pigmentation from atopic dermatitis, so you can only apply moisturizing cream diligently. Red acne scars: Noscar gel, etc. It all depends on the symptom. This information is featured in a video series called [Skin Ten*] where doctors briefly explain symptoms and solutions in under ten minutes. Therefore, searching for vitamin C for pigmentation is quite risky. Identify what's causing your pigmentation and then use products accordingly. For reference, [Skin Ten*] doesn't cover another type of pigmentation caused by poor blood circulation. If you suddenly notice a particular area of your waist looking unusually dark, either the organ in that area isn't functioning well, or muscles have tightened so much that blood can't flow between muscle fibers, and this condition has persisted. If it's a muscle issue, massage to loosen the muscles will solve it. If it's not a muscle problem, definitely see a doctor. - s7*****Da thiếu nướcĐược đề xuất05/09/2025 (UTC+0)
This product is amazing for rough, dry feet! I shower, pat my feet dry, and apply it to my heels and the soles of my big toes. Within just a day or two, my feet feel incredibly soft and look so smooth and polished. Nothing really stands out as a negative. The size is actually perfect since you only need a small amount for targeted areas, so it lasts a good while.

The rich cream formula delivers exceptional moisturizing power, so you'll feel an immediate surge of hydration the moment you apply it to your feet. It also helps improve calluses and dead skin buildup, and with consistent use, your feet become noticeably smoother and softer. It's especially effective during winter or in dry environments when your foot skin tends to crack or become rough and uncomfortable. Because the formula is quite rich and thick, you might experience some stickiness after applying it to your feet, which can make it inconvenient to put on shoes right away. Additionally, the fragrance comes through fairly strong, so if you have sensitive skin or prefer unscented products, you might find this aspect disappointing. - wl*******Da khôDa nhạy cảmĐược đề xuất26/06/2025 (UTC+0)
It's genuinely so hydrating! My heels were severely cracked and even bleeding, but now they're completely better. There's really nothing to complain about. I'm so satisfied and I want to keep using this for a long time. I apply it before bed and wear moisture socks while I sleep. - al*******Da thiếu nướcDa nhạy cảmDa mụnKhô từ bên trongNếp nhăn / Độ đàn hồiMẩn đỏĐược đề xuất01/04/2025 (UTC+0)
This foot cream absorbs quickly, which I really love. It contains urea, so it feels extra moisturizing and nourishing on my skin. It has a subtle scent, though I think it would be just as great in an unscented version. Otherwise, I don't have any complaints about it. - 7n********Da khôDa dị ứngĐược đề xuất23/03/2025 (UTC+0)
I absolutely love this! I've noticed that when I use it consistently, my skin becomes so incredibly soft and smooth. I haven't found any real downsides yet! If I had to nitpick, I guess I wish there was more product in each container. - an*********Da hỗn hợpĐược đề xuất07/03/2025 (UTC+0)
I just recently realized that I need to moisturize my feet too! So I quickly searched for foot cream and decided to give it a try. The jar-type creams sold at pharmacies didn't seem to have great ingredients, so I went with Dermavie, a brand I already love and trust. I'm already on my second jar, and honestly, the urea content is so high that this cream is basically the ultimate hydration powerhouse. Seriously. When I compare using a regular body lotion on my feet versus this Dermavie foot cream, the difference in moisture retention is night and day. My feet feel like they're wrapped in a protective, nourishing layer. It can get slippery if you walk around barefoot indoors right after applying it. I picked up two jars for 11,000 won during an Olive Young sale. Apply it, put on moisturizing socks before bed, and when you wake up, your dry skin flakes are completely gone.
