So I went hunting for a stick version, and I found this gem at Daiso for an amazing price, so I decided to give it a try. ✓ The price is fantastic ✓ It's compact and super easy to carry around ✓ The oval shape makes it so simple to cover a wider area, and just like a stick should be, I can apply it anywhere, anytime with just a quick swipe ✓ The formula is firm and sturdy, so it doesn't melt or crumble, which means it lasts forever It's way too oily for me. I have combination skin, and normally I completely avoid any base products with an oily feel, but the reviews mentioned it being powdery and mattifying, so I didn't expect it to be oily at all. But that powdery description? It's not the kind of powdery I was hoping for. It's more of a greasy, slick kind of texture. Because of all that oil, it's actually really hard to apply makeup on top of it. So now I just use it as a sun protection layer when I'm going out bare-faced. Great value for money! I've applied this countless times and never experienced any itching or irritation whatsoever! Everything else is fine, but it's way too sticky. It doesn't absorb well, so even after some time passes, it still transfers onto my clothes.

It applies smoothly and has barely any scent. There's minimal clumping and I haven't experienced any irritation. I couldn't expect more than a subtle brightening effect. It doesn't conceal blemishes and imperfections quite as well as a BB cream would.

The small size is perfect for tossing into my clutch or bag. Even with multiple applications, the formula stays lightweight and powdery. When I'm going makeup-free, I just touch it up every couple of hours and I'm good to go. My eyes feel completely comfortable, and it's so convenient to carry around wherever I need it. If you apply this over makeup, it's a total mess. You can see streaky marks all over your skin where the stick glides across. It's such a shame when you've put so much effort into perfecting your base.
