Incredibly refreshing cooling sensation! I truly believe no other modeling mask can compete with this one's cooling power. I've tried countless modeling masks, but none have kept me feeling this cool. Usually, masks only stay cool for about 5 minutes after application, then your face's natural warmth makes them lukewarm. But this one? It stays beautifully cool from the moment you apply it all the way until you peel it off. I highly recommend this for anyone with heat-prone, flushed skin, extremely oily skin, or unbalanced skin hydration. Honestly, during hot summer days, if you apply an aloe gel or hydrating base gel first, wait 10 minutes, then layer this mask on top while sitting in front of a fan or air conditioner watching TV or your phone, it's pure bliss! I mentioned this works best for heat-prone skin, combination skin, and very oily skin types, and there's actually a reason for that. My dad and I have those skin types, and we've used it without any issues whatsoever. But my sister, who has dry and sensitive skin, kept getting small bumps or breakouts the day after using it. They did fade quickly, but she felt the mask was slightly irritating when removing it and left her skin feeling dry. If you have sensitivity to spirulina or menthol ingredients, or if your skin is particularly reactive, you might want to think twice about this one. Aside from the cooling effect, the other benefits are pretty standard. If you're just applying essence before the mask, it might feel a bit dry. I've tried modeling packs from several brands, but I've been sticking with Daesangbleu for over six months now. Since I alternate between modeling packs and sheet masks, people have been noticing a real difference in my skin. It's gotten so much better! The texture has smoothed out noticeably, and my skin looks great even when I take photos with my regular phone camera. On days when my skin gets really stressed from being outside for long periods or wearing makeup all day, I make sure to use this product to calm everything down. The next day, my skin bounces back without any issues. I absolutely love Daesangbleu! I've already ordered a 1kg refill and I'm waiting for it to arrive. The downside is definitely the price compared to other modeling packs. The refill size can cost up to six times more than alternatives. But once you buy it, it lasts forever, and I think of it as an investment in my skin's future. When you look at it that way, it's actually quite affordable. Pro tip: I picked up an airtight container from the dollar store to store it, which makes things so much easier! The original plastic container that comes with Daesangbleu is a bit difficult to open and close. I used to buy it in the thirty-thousand-won range, but at some point it got more expensive. As someone who uses it about three times a week, I'm really disappointed about that. The scent isn't pleasant, and it's a hassle to deal with. It has an unpleasant smell when I dispose of it, so I freeze it in a bag and throw it away all at once.
