I was honestly skeptical that a shampoo bar would feel stiff like traditional soap, but this product completely changed my mind. I keep it in a soap net and hang it up to use, and the ingredients are genuinely excellent. The lather is amazing, it cleanses beautifully, and best of all, there's no bulky plastic waste. It's truly a win-win-win situation! I'm so impressed with Donggu Bat that I want to try everything from their line, and I'm already thinking about gifting these to my friends. I definitely need to try their treatment bar next! Surprisingly, there's absolutely nothing disappointing about this product. I'm definitely buying it again. - zo****Da khôDa nhạy cảm20/06/2025 (UTC+0)
This is an easy product to use that cleanses really well and produces a nice lather. Like other shampoo bars, it leaves hair feeling stiff without conditioner, and the fragrance isn't very noticeable. - mi************Da khôLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenQuầng thâm mắtKhô từ bên trongLỗ chân lông toĐược đề xuất15/06/2025 (UTC+0)
I started with the travel size and loved it so much that I bought the full-size version. After using it for about a month, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Even though it's a bar soap, I didn't expect much, but it lathers beautifully and cleanses really well. I'm genuinely happy with how it performs. I didn't notice much of a cooling or refreshing sensation, and honestly, it doesn't create as much lather compared to regular shampoo. - tn*******Da thiếu nướcDa nhạy cảmLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenĐược đề xuất21/10/2024 (UTC+0)
I have a dry scalp. Regular shampoo felt like it was making things even drier with all that harsh cleansing, so I switched to soap bars. I tried the one for combination-to-dry skin and it worked great, so now I'm using the dry skin formula! It rinses less stiffly than the combination-to-dry version. There wasn't a huge difference, but during the rinse, I definitely noticed it felt less rigid compared to the combination-to-dry soap. It's nice, but I feel like it's missing that refreshing, squeaky-clean feeling, so I'm thinking about using it alongside a cooling soap! Daiso sponge soap holder - great for keeping things dry

Using it with a foaming net completely eliminated the common complaint about shampoo bars being hard to lather, and the bubbles actually build up quickly and generously, which makes washing so much easier. My scalp tends toward the dry side, but I was worried that shampoo bars might leave my hair feeling drier than liquid shampoo, so I went with a formula designed for dry hair. I'm pleasantly surprised that it doesn't leave any dryness at all, and instead finishes with just the right amount of moisture and softness. I'm really glad I made this choice. Since I'm not a fan of strong shampoo scents, I actually appreciate that this one doesn't leave a lingering fragrance. The moisturizing finish is great for keeping my scalp from drying out, but if I use my regular amount of conditioner, my hair can look overly greasy and weighed down. I've had to adjust and use less conditioner or rinse to get the right balance. - mo*********Da khôDa nhạy cảmDa mụnLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenQuầng thâm mắtKhô từ bên trongNếp nhăn / Độ đàn hồiLỗ chân lông toMẩn đỏTế bào da chếtĐược đề xuất13/06/2023 (UTC+0)
The biggest advantage is how gentle it is. My husband has an extremely sensitive scalp with seborrheic dermatitis and hair loss, so he takes medication for hair loss and applies topical treatments to his scalp. But like most working people, washing his hair morning and night meant that even shampoos labeled as gentle caused significant irritation. Sometimes the scalp flaking was so severe it would literally flake off in chunks. We even applied prescription treatments from the dermatologist for psoriasis. The dermatologist explained that while it looks like dandruff and seems unclean, it actually appears more frequently in people who are very particular about cleanliness. The issue is that shampooing and showering too frequently irritates and dries out the scalp. So we switched to gentler shampoos and tried pretty much every well-known hair loss shampoo out there. But they were all irritating, and whenever we'd settle on a product, the manufacturers seemed to gradually reduce costs by changing the formula, making them eventually just as harsh as any other shampoo on the market. Honestly, most solid shampoo bars have similar full ingredient lists. Sodium cocoyl isethionate is the main cleansing agent, and corn starch is common too. Most shampoo bars are pretty similar in this regard. But since my husband's main concern was avoiding dryness, we tried other shampoo bars, and among all the options, this dry-hair formula was the best. Sure, solid shampoo bars feel a bit stiff when washing compared to regular shampoos with dimethicone, but once you adjust, it's hard to go back to commercial sulfate-based liquid shampoos. The reason is that your scalp feels completely different after washing. It's like the difference between instant food that tastes good while eating but leaves you feeling bloated afterward, versus healthy food that might taste slightly less exciting but leaves you feeling great afterward. That's the feeling. As long as this brand doesn't gradually change the formula to cut costs like those disappointing shampoos we've tried before, we're sticking with this dry-hair shampoo bar. By the way, we don't just use it for hair—we wash our entire body with it from head to toe. It's so gentle and feels so smooth to use. I even use it to remove makeup. I do a first pass to roughly remove makeup, then during my regular hair wash and full-body cleanse, I leave the lather on my face, and right before rinsing everything off, I gently rub my face and rinse everything together. My face comes out clean. Using one solid bar for everything from hair to face to toes is wonderful because it's so gentle. This isn't really a problem with this brand—it's an unavoidable challenge with solid shampoo bars in general. Because it's a bar, when you rub it directly on your hair and lather it up, your hair gets tangled quite a bit. That's just an inherent issue with using solid shampoo bars. This could also be a limitation of solid shampoo bars themselves. On really busy mornings, I find myself just reaching for liquid shampoo, squeezing it out quickly, and washing fast. When you're rushing in the morning and every second counts, it's hard to take time rubbing a bar to build up lather—especially if you have longer hair, I'm sure you can relate. Just like people don't eat only healthy food 365 days a year, we don't use only solid shampoo bars either. While the solid bar is our main product, we also use liquid shampoo for those hectic mornings when we need to squeeze and go quickly. By the way, we choose gentle liquid shampoos based on ingredients too, and among affordable liquid shampoos with gentle formulas, I think the Kun brand is reasonably gentle and offers good value for the price. - eu****Da khôKhô từ bên trongTế bào da chếtĐược đề xuất24/05/2023 (UTC+0)
I've been struggling with dry seborrheic scalp, and my scalp was so parched that flakes would appear on my shoulders within minutes, plus the itching was unbearable—I'd scratch until it hurt (and I wash my hair daily). I was so frustrated that I bought a medicated shampoo from the pharmacy, but whenever I switched back to regular shampoo, the itching and flakes would return. So I started trying different shampoos to use alongside the medicated one, and I kept hearing how amazing shampoo bars were, so I picked up a dry scalp formula from Donggubat! Let me start with what I loved: *It's so moisturizing! With regular shampoo, even the slightest scratch causes flakes, but this product doesn't make my scalp itch nearly as much, and flakes barely form even when I do scratch. My scalp feels genuinely hydrated! *I bought a soap net from the dollar store and use it to lather the bar, and just two quick rubs create tons of foam! Seriously, at this rate I'll be using this forever! The lather is incredible! I really recommend using a foam net when you use this product! *Getting it delivered the next day through fast shipping is totally doable! Now for the downsides: *The bar itself has a lavender scent, but don't expect your hair to smell like lavender afterward—it won't! Since this isn't a fragrance-infused shampoo, I'm just happy with how moisturizing it is. That said, it does a great job eliminating scalp odor, so you don't need to worry about that! *If you don't use a foam net, it might be tricky to clean hard-to-reach areas. I really do recommend getting a foam net! *Since it's a shampoo bar, my hair feels a bit stiff after using it. There's a separate conditioner bar available for this, and applying a hair essence afterward would work great too! *If you have severe dry seborrheic scalp, this alone might not give you the results you're hoping for. I'd strongly recommend using it alongside a medicated shampoo! I'm using both together, and the results are seriously amazing! You can actually see the flakes decreasing and the itching has reduced so much! (I really recommend the medicated shampoo I mentioned earlier.) A shampoo bar you can choose based on your scalp type! I highly recommend it for dry scalp!
