This soap is incredibly firm and dense. I found that rubbing it directly on my skin works better than using a lather net. The lather it produces is absolutely amazing and luxurious. Despite how solid it is, it doesn't wear down as quickly as I expected. My hair feels a bit stiff and rigid after using it. I'd recommend using it with a foaming net. You'll get so much more lather compared to rubbing it directly on your hair, and you can massage your scalp so gently. Plus, if you hang it on the net with the loop and store it somewhere dry away from water, it'll drain well and won't deteriorate, so you can enjoy it for a really long time. My scalp itching was pretty intense, but I've definitely scratched less since using this. When I wash my hair, there's this refreshing, cooling sensation that feels amazing, and when I rinse, that squeaky-clean feeling tells me the shampoo is rinsing out perfectly. I think this is going to be a great match for oily, greasy scalps. Most people should be able to use this without any strong scent preferences getting in the way. 1. It can feel a bit dry. This is the only real drawback of shampoo bars, and this one is no exception. You'll definitely want to follow up with a conditioner or treatment. You're supposed to work up a lather in your hands first and then massage it into your scalp, but honestly, you can also just rub it directly onto your hair without any major issues.
