After using it, my hair feels incredibly moisturized and silky smooth. My scalp was already sensitive, so I thought a shampoo bar might work better for me. Unfortunately, it made my scalp even more irritated. I was careful to only apply it to my hair ends and rinsed thoroughly, but it just didn't work for my hair type. I was skeptical about trying a solid conditioner for the first time, but I'm honestly so impressed! Results: I've used the treatment bar before and tried plenty of popular treatment products over the years, but for my thin, frizzy hair, this rinse bar is honestly the best I've found. I switched to conditioner bars because liquid rinse takes up so much space, and throwing away empty bottles felt wasteful. I keep mine on the soap dish next to my shower, and it's incredibly convenient. After shampooing, I apply it directly to my wet hair, massage it through while working it in, rinse it out, and my hair feels silky smooth. Since I have an oily scalp, I'm careful to keep both the conditioner and rinse away from my roots to avoid buildup. Sure, it doesn't give me that ultra-silky seaweed texture that the popular liquid conditioners do, but the compact size means it doesn't hog bathroom space, and the smoothness is honestly great for me. What I really love is that with liquid conditioners, when you're almost done, the pump stops working and you're left with product stuck at the bottom of the bottle that's annoying to use. With conditioner bars, when they get soft and start breaking apart near the end, I just press the leftover pieces onto a fresh bar, let it dry and harden, and I'm done. It's so easy. The parts that get wet frequently do wear down noticeably, so I'd recommend keeping it in a spot where water drains well. If you feel like the conditioner bar alone isn't quite enough, try using a treatment before it, or apply a hair essence before blow-drying. This solid bar is incredibly durable and doesn't crumble easily, making it last a long time. You can apply it directly to your hair and rub it in, and it works surprisingly fast. The solid bar format itself is such a great advantage. Plus, it's super easy to dispose of when you've used it all up. Like the treatment bar, it feels silky smooth while rinsing, but once it dries, your hair feels rough and straw-like. It definitely doesn't give you that soft, glossy finish you get from regular rinse conditioners. And honestly, using this alone isn't enough—you really need to pair it with a treatment bar to get decent results.
