It lathers beautifully and I haven't experienced any scalp issues. Since it's a solid bar, my hair does feel a bit stiff, but once I use a conditioner, it's honestly not a problem at all. I've been using it consistently and I'm definitely planning to repurchase. There's honestly nothing to complain about. Actually, the lather is so rich that it makes me wonder if that's normal, haha. It produces just as much foam as regular liquid shampoo, so that should be fine, right? And as long as you rinse out the soap residue thoroughly, it lasts a really long time. Wet your hair and dampen the soap bar, then apply it directly to your hair and massage it in. The lather comes out beautifully.
