My skin type: combination with occasional breakouts (small bumps are rare, but I do get folliculitis mainly around my chin area) I've tried both Indonesian and American versions, but honestly can't tell much difference between them. As someone who experiments with different soaps regularly, I can confidently say Dove soap is my number one choice. It's not harsh on my skin, produces plenty of rich lather, feels incredibly soft, and my skin stays smooth and hydrated even after washing. It's also fantastic for body use. I absolutely love the Dove scent, so I'm completely satisfied with it. I'm already repurchasing it constantly! The Cream Bar is nice too, but the Sensitive version is equally great. Though I do prefer the Cream Bar's fragrance! This is hands down the most incredible essential beauty product I've ever used in my entire life. There's literally nothing else that comes close to it. I use this multi-purpose soap all the time. I cleanse my face in the morning, use it as a body wash substitute, wash my hands with it—it's truly a multi-purpose soap that does it all. I switched from the sensitive formula to the regular one, and I'm really happy with it. The scent is lovely and the price is so reasonable that I get great use out of it across the board. It does tend to get a bit soft during the summer months. I have oily skin and this cleanser works wonderfully for me. It removes oil and impurities effectively, and I love the scent. I've been using it as an all-in-one product and it's been great for my routine. I haven't experienced any breakouts, which is good. The only downside is that as the soap bar gets smaller, it tends to crumble and fall apart. I've lost track of how long I've been using this Dove White Beauty Bar. It was my dream soap 25 years ago, and now it's become my everyday essential. The formula is gentle on my skin and truly works well for me. I used to use it as a shampoo and body cleanser too, but these days I keep separate products because of my partner's preferences. When I use it as a shampoo, my hair definitely feels stiff and dry. For dry skin, nothing beats Dove soap. I use it for my body and face—not my hair—and it handles everything beautifully. It's gentle and non-irritating, leaving my skin feeling soft and refreshed without that tight feeling. I'm really happy with it. Plus, the scent is absolutely lovely and makes my whole bathroom smell amazing. I'm already on my third bar! I use it for both shampoo and body wash, and I absolutely love the scent. The gentle formula means no itching or dryness for me. Plus, it lathers beautifully throughout the entire bar—I'm really impressed! There's really nothing to complain about... I guess the only thing is that it does wear down faster if you use it generously? I've been using this for a whole year now for both facial cleansing and body wash. I tried it without expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised—it doesn't irritate my face at all, and the scent is wonderful, so I've made it a permanent part of my routine. My skin isn't overly oily, and this works beautifully for morning cleansing, double cleansing, and everyday washing. I absolutely recommend it! I haven't experienced any breakouts, and it doesn't leave that squeaky-clean feeling either. Honestly, there's nothing to complain about. The only minor thing is that the size is a bit small.

I didn't know how great it was back then, but once I started using it, I was genuinely impressed. People say the American version is the best, but the German one works really well too. If you're dealing with body acne concerns, I absolutely recommend the beauty bar over body wash. Sure, body washes claim to cleanse thoroughly, but their formula inevitably leaves residue behind. Honestly, sticking with a soap-based formula is so much better. I'm disappointed that the Indonesian version seems to be the official import now. I have to order the American version and others directly from abroad, so Indonesian is the most accessible option. But I've heard the ingredients aren't as good. Definitely give it a try for body acne. The price is pretty reasonable too, so you can test it out. If it doesn't work for you, you can always just use it as regular soap instead.
