The pomegranate scent is quite sharp, and it feels thicker compared to lavender. This is one of those creamy fragrances you often find in certain Dove products, and while it's hard to pinpoint exactly what it smells like, there's a slightly stale note at the end. The pomegranate feels more moisturizing and creamy than lavender, so when rolling it on, it's less irritating than the lavender version. The lavender has a really lovely scent and a thinner consistency compared to pomegranate. Because of this, it feels a bit more irritating when rolling it on compared to pomegranate. Both products do sting a little when rolling them on. That's why I applied them thinly across my whole body with a light touch, and only used the rolling motion when rinsing them off. If you have sensitive skin and want to use intensity level 1 or 2, you can follow my method and it'll still be plenty effective for exfoliating. I'm only using it once a month, and after each use, I apply body lotion more thoroughly than usual. You don't need to exfoliate regularly. It varies from person to person, but there are times when you just feel like your skin needs it. I only use it when that feeling comes up, not as part of a regular routine. I've heard that Japanese Dove body scrubs have better scents, and I'm curious about the osmanthus and sakura musk versions, so I'm planning to pick some up on my next trip to Japan. After exfoliating, this is the only product that delivers such amazing hydration... honestly, it's my holy grail The exfoliating power feels a bit weak... I wish it were stronger. You have to use it on completely dry skin for it to actually exfoliate properly, which is disappointing Make sure to apply it on dry skin for best results!
