I bought this because it's supposed to be great for oily scalp. I really love that it feels lightweight and doesn't weigh my hair down. Oh my goodness, I really need to share this! A few years ago, I made a mistake using a weakly acidic shampoo, and it completely damaged my scalp and left my hair dry and brittle. I even started experiencing hair loss, and I was stressed about it for so long. My scalp got so bad that my hair, which used to stay clean for four days without washing, would get oily after just one day. It was itchy, and when I scratched it, white flaky dandruff would get under my nails. My scalp smelled terrible, and nothing I tried seemed to help, so I basically gave up. But then... oh my gosh!!! I found my solution with this product! Why I bought it: I saw a recommendation post on one community forum, and then I saw another post on a different community where someone said they solved their teenage child's hair odor problem with this product, so I decided to give it a try. Results: After shampooing, I cleanse my scalp with my fingertips, and it feels so refreshed and clean. I can really feel that squeaky-clean sensation. My hair dries so much faster now, instead of staying damp and taking forever to dry like before. The oiliness that used to happen within a day completely disappeared! And since it's Dove, you know the hair is going to feel amazing and soft. My scalp odor is completely gone and now it smells fresh. The itching is still a bit there, and I need to keep monitoring the hair loss, but I'm hopeful. I'll come back with another review after using it for more than a month. [One month later update] First of all, my scalp doesn't smell anymore. Even if I don't wash for two days, there's no unpleasant odor. However, I've noticed that this shampoo has strong cleansing power, so even when I use scalp tonic, I'm losing quite a bit of hair around my hairline and when I shampoo. There is some itching, but it feels more like dryness rather than lack of cleansing. I'm mainly experiencing itching around my ears, hairline, and the back of my head, so starting next week I'm planning to mix the shampoo with conditioner when I wash. The dandruff has changed in texture. When I just use the shampoo, it sits as a layer of flakes, but when I use the tonic, the flakes come off in clumps with just a light scratch. I don't have any complaints! Well, I'm hoping there won't be any. I just hope they don't reformulate the ingredients. Please don't change it. Leave the lather on for two to three minutes, then cleanse thoroughly with your fingertips. I should mention that the Dove Sensitive Bar didn't work well for me as an all-in-one product. When my scalp felt inflamed, it did provide a soothing effect, but it actually made my scalp flaking worse. Works wonderfully without any fuss! - Hair does feel a bit stiff afterward (compared to other hair-nourishing shampoos), but it's not the worst among scalp shampoos - Haven't tried it in winter yet, but if it works well during seasonal transitions, I'll update my review later - Hair feels stiff, so you'll need to either use a separate hair shampoo or invest extra time and care with conditioner treatments - Even with this shampoo in peak summer, sometimes my bangs don't feel completely oil-free... it seems this scalp shampoo isn't as strong on cleansing as some others Highly recommend for summer! I've never stuck with a shampoo before. I'd either get bored and switch to something new, or barely finish the bottle before moving on. But this one? I think I've finally found my match. The cleansing power is seriously impressive. Even without a cooling scalp function, my hair feels incredibly refreshed and clean. And here's the thing that really surprised me: strong cleansing usually means dry, tangled hair, right? Not with this one. My hair is genuinely soft and smooth. When I air dry without any styling products, my hair brush glides right through with zero resistance. The value for money is fantastic too. I'm not sure about regular store prices, but online I can grab a 680ml bottle for around 5,000 won. That's an absolute steal. There's honestly nothing negative to report. I've been using it for a month now, washing my hair every other day. I decided to try this because I love the Dove scent, and I'm so happy I did! My hair felt incredibly soft and smooth after shampooing. I can't really think of any downsides. My only concern is that I saw on a beauty app that it contains trace amounts of potentially harmful substances, but honestly, it seems like that's pretty standard across most shampoos these days.

For short hair, just two pumps is enough to cleanse your entire scalp and strands. The scent is that classic Dove fragrance we all know and love. The texture feels really balanced - it's not overly greasy, but it doesn't leave your hair feeling dry and straw-like either. It's a clean, refreshing experience overall. I don't have any negatives! The fragrance is lovely and the cleansing power really works well. Plus, it feels so gentle on the skin. The neutral formula is fine, but I have to say the ingredients could be better. I've tried organic and high-quality formulations before, and honestly, I don't notice much of a difference with this one.
