When I applied it carefully to my scalp and waited a moment, I got this wonderfully refreshing, cooling sensation that felt amazing. The cleansing power was solid too—my hair didn't get weighed down or greasy right away. Overall, it's been such an easy, reliable product to use every day. It doesn't create an abundance of lather, but you do get a nice, decent amount of foam. If you thoroughly wet your scalp first and focus the shampoo application on your roots, you'll feel that refreshing sensation when rinsing it out. The scent is subtle and pleasant—nothing overpowering or irritating. Using just this shampoo alone leaves my hair feeling stiff and rough. I really need to follow up with a conditioner or treatment to get my hair feeling soft and smooth again.

Since I'm not a fan of artificial fragrances, I was thrilled that there was no noticeable scent. My hair didn't tangle at all, the cleansing power was excellent, and I didn't experience any dryness after shampooing. There's really nothing disappointing about this product. I would definitely buy it again.
