I have very dry and sensitive skin, and I love that this doesn't make my skin feel tight or parched at all! I don't get any breakouts from it, but if you wear makeup, one cleanse won't cut it. I'd recommend removing your makeup first with an oil or micellar water, then following up with a cleansing foam. - tj*******Da dầuDa nhạy cảmDa mụnĐược đề xuất24/04/2025 (UTC+0)
I absolutely love how this cleanser has such a rich, creamy texture and amazing cleansing power. It's been my go-to staple for years now! After using it for a while, the applicator starts to leak unexpectedly. If they could just fix this one issue, it would be perfect. - ho******Da thiếu nướcDa mụnBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenMẩn đỏTế bào da chếtĐược đề xuất08/04/2025 (UTC+0)
I have trouble-prone skin and this cleansing foam is perfect for daily use! It's gentle and doesn't leave my skin feeling tight or overly dry after washing, so I love using it morning and night. The cleansing power is really impressive too! The texture feels like a standard cleansing foam, and it creates a rich, creamy lather that feels amazing. I didn't notice a significant improvement in my breakouts or a reduction in blemishes, which was a bit disappointing. Pro tip: adjust the amount of water you use while cleansing based on how deep of a cleanse you want for even better results! - me*******Da hỗn hợpLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenKhô từ bên trongNếp nhăn / Độ đàn hồiLỗ chân lông toĐược đề xuất15/01/2025 (UTC+0)
Perfect for a gentle second cleanse or those makeup-free days when you want something light and easy! I feel like you really need to do a first cleanse with an oil or makeup remover before using this.

When it comes to skincare, cleansing is hands down the number one product that's hardest to choose. In my case, I've always had genetically weak skin. When I was younger, my eczema was so severe that even water touching my skin would hurt. My skin looked like those nature documentaries showing cracked earth with magma visible underneath. If a cleanser or body wash is too strong, my skin barrier completely collapses and I shed skin like a snake. One wrong product means I suffer for at least a month, so I have to be extremely careful with cleansers. In my thirties, I only used slightly acidic products, but once I hit my forties, I needed slightly alkaline cleansers too because my skin stopped shedding dead skin cells properly. However, alkaline cleansers are usually made for thick, oily skin, so they're formulated to be quite strong. I need them, but finding a gentle alkaline cleanser for sensitive skin is incredibly difficult. Since slightly acidic products became trendy, alkaline cleansers almost disappeared from the market. Doctor Belmer released both slightly acidic and slightly alkaline foams with BHA ingredients. Their website is simple with no celebrity endorsers or flashy advertising. Other brands try to look special by adding oils or natural herbs, but this one keeps it simple with only necessary ingredients, avoiding anything known to be harmful. For reference: AHA chemically removes dead skin cells, BHA dissolves sebum, and PHA gradually promotes natural skin shedding. To sum it up, this is the gentlest alkaline soap I've ever tried. The foam is quite dense, so I initially thought it would strip away all sebum, but it only removes surface oil while leaving sebum deep in pores untouched (dry skin has narrow pores and sebum doesn't come out easily even with softeners). I can alternate between slightly acidic one day and slightly alkaline the next without any problems. This product is made for sensitive skin to use daily! Doctor and patch products were huge in 2023 and 2024, but I don't recommend exfoliating toners or patches for sensitive skin. If you want exfoliating ingredients, I'd suggest using a cleanser with those ingredients instead. Toners and patches don't just work while on your face—they continue exfoliating for almost 10 hours until you wash again. Sensitive skin is often thin, and using these products can make your skin barrier significantly thinner without you realizing it. Cleansers, on the other hand, only stay on your skin for 1 to 3 minutes max before being rinsed away, so even stronger formulas cause fewer problems. Some people get scared looking at ingredient lists because of potentially irritating or allergenic components. Even if an ingredient list only contains grades 1-2, fragrances (which are actually multiple ingredients blended together) can sometimes be harsh. Problems can also occur when the overall formula ratios aren't balanced. Plus, natural ingredients can unexpectedly not work for your skin and cause breakouts. So you can't feel completely safe just because all ingredients are grades 1-2. On the flip side, high-tech brands sometimes include risky ingredients but formulate them so skillfully that they use those components effectively. Doctor Belmer seems to have covered this through their technology. Since this product only touches skin for a maximum of 3 minutes before being rinsed away, the risk is minimal. Brands with research facilities are quite trustworthy. Oily skin types absolutely won't like this. It's truly a product for weak skin like sensitive or atopic skin, so while people with healthy skin can use it, they might feel it's not strong enough. Honestly, it just gently removes surface oil—even I thought it was weak when I first tried it as someone with sensitive skin. However, since exfoliation is cumulative, using it daily provides adequate results. Until now, I'd do heavy exfoliation once or twice a month, but with this product, that's unnecessary. It's impressive that sensitive skin can now use an alkaline cleanser daily. This is quite a niche product. It was created because there's a real need for it, but since it's not mainstream, they don't advertise much. It's a brand that sensitive skin people eventually discover. It says it's for acne and sensitive skin, but oily acne-prone skin probably won't like it—it's better for dry acne-prone skin. This is truly the gentlest alkaline cleanser I've ever encountered! To use an analogy, it's at the level of baby rice crackers (it has allergenic and risky ingredients in its composition, but the sensation is at this gentle level). I'm giving it 4 stars because I haven't used it long enough to confirm there are absolutely no problems with extended use. If I finish 2 bottles without issues, it should honestly be a 10, not a 5. I'm also posting comparison reviews of Doctor Belmer versus other products like the Amazing Deep Mint and the Onion New Fair. Onion (strong) > Mint (medium, sometimes okay) > Belmer (gentle, suitable for daily use) - co******Da hỗn hợpDa mụnĐược đề xuất19/11/2024 (UTC+0)
I've gone through two bottles of this foam cleanser and it's been great, so I wanted to leave a review. The ingredients though... sigh. Personally, it works fine for me. I specifically bought this foam cleanser because I wanted that squeaky-clean feeling, and it definitely delivers. If I use it every day, my skin gets dry, so I only use it about three times a week. When I'm dealing with breakouts, I switch to using it just in the evening. The ingredients though... I'm concerned. Why are there so many potentially pore-clogging components in this formula? When I use it occasionally, it seems to do a really good job of exfoliating. But if I use it daily, my skin gets too dry! - yu********Da hỗn hợpDa mụnBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenKhô từ bên trong30/06/2024 (UTC+0)
It's really gentle on my skin. Since my skin is sensitive and prone to dryness when I use cleansers that are too strong, I appreciate that this foam cleanser has a lighter touch. I haven't experienced any breakouts from using it, which is great for my reactive skin. It's both a strength and a weakness that the cleansing power is mild. On days when I wear makeup, this foam cleanser alone doesn't remove everything thoroughly, so I have to use a different, stronger foam cleanser to get my face completely clean. - in*****Da thiếu nướcDa nhạy cảmDa mụnLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenKhô từ bên trongLỗ chân lông toTế bào da chếtĐược đề xuất26/09/2023 (UTC+0)
First, I have to say I have typical oily and acne-prone skin! After using this for about a month, I can definitely feel that it's more suitable for acne-prone skin compared to regular cleansing foam. It has a nice squeaky-clean feel without being overly drying, and there's no greasy residue either—it's perfectly balanced. I looked it up on YouTube and found out that salicylic acid is great for exfoliating, and since this product contains that ingredient, I'm planning to keep using it going forward. There's nothing majorly disappointing about it, but it doesn't dramatically clear up acne or anything like that. It does seem to help with inflamed breakouts, but those tiny, stubborn bumps don't really decrease much and keep coming back. I didn't find it irritating when I used it, but since it does contain some potentially irritating ingredients, I'd recommend doing a patch test first. Also, make sure to mix it well with water and work up a good lather before applying it to your face. If you apply it directly without enough foam, it might cause irritation.
