The smell is actually better than expected, kind of like a spa treatment. The application feels wonderful and so smooth. It adheres really well to the skin. I think it does a great job of unclogging pores. This would be perfect for summer use. Compared to other masks, it peels off cleanly and doesn't leave your skin feeling tight or parched. The cooling effect is too intense. It feels really irritating on my skin. I don't think it calms things down at all... I wish I hadn't bought this for winter. It's not drying, but it doesn't feel hydrating either. Update: When I apply the essence thickly or add more water to dilute it, the irritation lessens and it feels refreshing! All things considered, this is more of a summer recommendation than a winter one. This is my favorite budget-friendly modeling mask! The powder mixes smoothly without clumping, it feels incredibly soothing on my skin, and it doesn't leave that uncomfortable tight, dehydrated feeling afterward. I've tried other brands, but this one has become my holy grail product. If you have a sensitive nose, this might be challenging to use because it has a seaweed-like scent. I think the amount of product is generous and the value for money is absolutely unbeatable! You really should grab this one It's a bit tricky to control how much product comes out. What I love is that my skin stays beautifully hydrated and moisturized even after I finish using it. There's nothing really disappointing about it, it's just okay I guess? I wouldn't say it's amazing or that I'd use it forever, but it's decent. It feels amazing on flushed, heated skin - the cooling effect is so refreshing and soothing! When I apply it to areas with breakouts or irritation, it can feel a bit stingy and uncomfortable to tolerate sometimes. The recommended ratio is powder to water at 1:1, but I find that starting around 1:0.9 works better for me. The mixture has a nice, stretchy consistency that I really enjoy. I've been using Lindsay's diatomaceous earth modeling pack for a while, and I bought this product based on a recommendation I saw on YouTube for dry skin. (It turns out the manufacturer is the same company as Lindsay) The seaweed extract ingredient causes some color changes, which isn't ideal, but the mask feels really hydrating and adheres beautifully to give you that true modeling pack effect. It's not a dramatic transformation, but my skin definitely feels more moisturized after I remove it. The scent isn't overwhelming, but it's a bit more noticeable compared to the diatomaceous earth version. I haven't experienced any breakouts or irritation. Apply an essence first, then layer on the modeling pack for better nutrient absorption. Just make sure to remove it within 15 minutes.

Because of that, I have to do regular extractions... but when I use this mask after extraction on my irritated, red skin, I can really see how it calms down my entire complexion. Since it's a cooling mask, when I apply it to my face, it reduces the heat and inflammation overall. Even just 10-15 minutes and I can feel my skin settling down right away. For this level of effectiveness with this amount of product, I'm really satisfied. If I had to point out a downside, it's that you have to mix and prepare this mask yourself, which can be a hassle. With sheet masks, you just stick them on, peel them off, and you're done. But with this powder formula, you have to mix it with water and get the consistency right, which is annoying. There is that inconvenient part. But honestly, I haven't found another mask that calms and soothes skin this quickly. So even though it's a bit of a hassle, I keep using it. Sometimes I mix the powder with toner instead of just water. It varies depending on what I'm going for that day. Once you use it a few times, you naturally pick up tricks and techniques. I've been using this for over 5 years and I absolutely love it. It calms my skin beautifully and feels so refreshing. Whenever my skin needs soothing, this is my go-to product. I don't really have any complaints. I just wish you'd increase the product size!
