This has become an absolute staple in my routine. The soothing effect works wonderfully, and I love how smoothly it glides on with that hydrating feel. When I gently pat it in, it absorbs beautifully without leaving any greasy residue. Even if you have dry skin, you won't feel any tightness or dryness. I think this works great for all skin types, honestly. Yes, it's pricey, but it's so incredibly good that I'm definitely repurchasing. I really recommend giving it a try.

After applying it before bed and waking up, my skin felt so much more moisturized and plump—it was wonderful! I really loved that it's a vegan essence and the bottle color is absolutely gorgeous. The little particles inside absorb beautifully into the skin when I apply it, which I'm really happy about. The lightweight formula spreads so smoothly, and while it does have a scent, it's not overpowering at all—it's subtle and barely noticeable, which is perfect. The only downside is that the price point is a bit steep. The formula is quite different from the first essence I've been using before. My previous first essences had a thinner consistency that flowed like a toner, but this one has a bit more body to it, similar to Sulwhasoo's essence. It has these little rounded capsule-like particles in it. Even though it's meant for the first step of your routine, it feels really concentrated. I used it after an exfoliating toner and applied it like an essence, and it felt incredibly hydrating and spread so smoothly across my skin. The finish left me feeling moisturized and plump, and I was really happy with how it performed. I think the price is on the expensive side for a drugstore brand. It's definitely cheaper than department store products, but the full price still feels a bit steep to me. I'd recommend waiting for a sale to pick this up.
