Most treatments aren't meant to touch the scalp, but this product can be used all the way to the roots. I massaged it in thoroughly from the roots to the ends. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a fragrant scalp treatment. I love how versatile this product is - I can use it from scalp to hair ends all in one go. The fragrance is rich and lovely, and it rinses out completely without leaving any residue. I can apply it all the way to my scalp, and I've definitely noticed less hair fall since using it. It requires a lot of rinsing. Since I'm using it on my scalp too, I have to rinse for quite a while to get all the lather out. Plus, it leaves my hair feeling a bit greasy.

The scent: It smells exactly like Santa Maria Novella Hydra Cream (the one everyone raves about). Honestly, no one was describing what this product smells like, so I'm doing it myself. When I first squeezed out the treatment, I caught a whiff and thought, where have I smelled this before? It has that perfume-like, cosmetic quality to it, but what is it exactly? Then it hit me when I remembered using Santa Maria Novella products. Yes, that's it! The fragrance is lovely, at least to my nose. According to the official website, it combines moringa flower notes with aquatic elements and warm floral undertones. The texture: It's thick and creamy, so you don't need to use as much as you'd think. I tend to use more treatment than shampoo, but with this formula, you'll want to be mindful of the amount since it's concentrated. How it feels: My routine is to wash my hair, apply the treatment, brush my teeth, use body wash, then rinse my hair. Whether it's the menthol or something else, when I first apply it, I don't notice much, but by the time I'm using body wash, my scalp feels refreshingly cool. The results: After using the treatment, my hair definitely combs through more smoothly. It seems especially beneficial for those with dry scalps. The price is really the issue here. The price-to-volume ratio is just not there. The bottle size is so small. Why is it this tiny? Where's the larger size option? I really wish there was a bigger version. The container design is inconvenient too. It's not a pump dispenser, so you have to squeeze it out. The cap doesn't pop off easily either. Instead, you twist it open slightly, and twisting it the other way closes it again. If your scalp gets dry and itchy when you don't wash your hair, using this shampoo is a game-changer. The itching completely disappears, and it's honestly the best solution I've found. I finally feel relief. Just so you know, the regular version of this shampoo smells quite different, with a slightly grassy note. And their scalp pack also has a different scent. The fragrance is actually really nice, and I feel like I've smelled something similar before, but I can't quite place it. I love that I can use this on my scalp too. The moisturizing formula isn't heavy at all, so even my fine, delicate hair can handle it without any issues. The packaging is honestly terrible. I have no idea why they designed it this way. The product doesn't come out smoothly, so I have to tap and bang the container multiple times just to get anything out. The scent is absolutely lovely! Compared to other rinses and treatments, this one rinses out so much more smoothly in water - it feels like you're just touching silky seaweed, which is such a pleasant sensation. It's really inconvenient to use. I have to flip the bottle upside down and squeeze it hard with one hand, which is frustrating. I wish it came in a pump dispenser instead.
