I can't speak to whether it prevents hair loss, but this shampoo definitely gives my hair a noticeably fuller appearance. When I use this to wash my hair, it takes forever to dry, and honestly, I've been breaking out in acne along my hairline, on my body, and everywhere else. This has never happened to me with a shampoo before.

My mom, who has incredibly thick hair, chose Laboeuh because the lather was luxurious and her hair felt so much softer! My dad and I picked Doctor For Hair Polygen Shampoo instead! The amount of hair loss we noticed was dramatically reduced. Such a relief! TS and Doctor For have similar formulas and feel, but honestly, what matters most to me is checking how much hair I'm losing in the bathtub drain. And Doctor For? I'm obsessed with it. Plus, it lathers better than TS! I repurchased it right away and went through the large bottle and a tube, then opened a smaller one. And the best part? Not a single breakout on my scalp or forehead! The scent isn't particularly pleasant, if I'm being honest. It has this distinctive clean medicinal vibe, kind of like a health clinic smell. Doctor For does have other lines with nicer fragrances, but this one has this sterile, clinical scent. It doesn't smell like soap or anything natural, just that fresh new product smell mixed with a plastic-like note. A nice-smelling treatment is absolutely essential!
