This one is great too, and I really recommend the cream that comes bundled with it. I used to struggle with stubborn congestion and breakouts, but when I consistently applied the Wellage ampoule and Dr. G products, they cleared up so quickly! I have really oily skin, so I get a lot of shine throughout the day! I actually apply this night cream before bed instead of right after my morning cleanse. If I use it before doing my makeup in the morning, I notice the makeup tends to shift a bit. But here's the thing—even though my skin is naturally quite oily, I can apply a generous amount before bed and wake up feeling anything but greasy. Instead, my skin feels smooth and fresh, not sticky at all. It's like the cream is actually oil itself, if that makes sense! If you're on the fence about trying this, I'd definitely recommend giving it a shot. If you use the cream in the morning and then apply makeup, your makeup might shift slightly. Skin Type During winter, my skin gets incredibly dry underneath while the surface stays oily. I also experience some flaking from time to time. I wouldn't say my skin is particularly sensitive, but when it does act up, I get quite a bit of breakouts. Application and Absorption This product applies so smoothly and feels incredibly lightweight while still keeping my skin hydrated. Because it's so light, it absorbs really quickly into the skin. Fragrance It does have a cosmetic scent to it. Personally, I don't mind it, but if you have sensitive skin, I'd recommend stopping by a beauty counter to test it out first. Best For I found this too drying for winter use, so I save it for summer instead. If you have oily skin, you might actually enjoy using it even in winter. You could also try applying it twice if you want more coverage. What Could Be Better Even though it's lightweight, it's almost too light for my needs. I think it would be great if they made a winter-specific version. Also, since it comes in a jar format rather than a tube, I'm a bit concerned about hygiene when scooping it out. I'm already on my nth bottle and keep repurchasing! For a hydrating cream, it feels a bit tacky and sticky on the skin, which is disappointing. It's not sticky and absorbs quickly, so it won't shift even when I apply it before makeup. After application, my skin feels calm and soothed, and I definitely notice it reduces any heat or redness. Overall, my skin texture feels smoother and my moisture-oil balance feels more balanced. During winter or when indoor heating is strong, it can feel a bit dry sometimes. In those cases, layering a light hydrating cream or facial oil on top works better. Also, since the jar requires scooping out the product, I need to be careful about hygiene, which is a bit inconvenient. Apply a thicker layer on your skin after evening cleansing when it feels warm, and it works wonderfully as a soothing treatment. During the day, apply a thin layer for a fresh feel, and at night, use a generous amount like a sleeping mask to wake up with refined skin texture. In summer, keep it in the refrigerator and use it for a cooling effect that feels extra refreshing.
