I picked up this anti-dandruff and anti-itch shampoo, and while the menthol sensation is pretty intense, it feels so refreshing! This is a shampoo designed for oily scalps. I wash my hair in the morning, but by evening my scalp gets incredibly greasy. This shampoo is different—it cleanses effectively without causing flaking or irritation. I used to always feel itchy when shampooing, so I'd scrub hard with my fingertips to get that refreshing clean feeling, but that would irritate my scalp. This shampoo is a game-changer. Even with the gentlest touch, it feels incredibly refreshing without any irritation whatsoever. It's amazing. If you dislike a cooling sensation on your scalp, this might not be your preference. This shampoo line actually comes in three different formulas tailored to different scalp types. The Cool Menthol version has a pH of 6 and is formulated for oily scalps. The other two formulas, with a pH of 5.5, are designed for itchy or sensitive scalps and can work for combination to dry scalp types. The fresh mint scent is so invigorating and cooling! I have longer hair, and just 1.5 to 2 pumps creates a nice lather. The cleansing power is excellent, and since my scalp tends to be dry with flaking, I'm really impressed that this formula actually helps manage that issue too. Plus, the price is so affordable that I'm definitely planning to repurchase! Honestly, there's nothing major to complain about so far. I've been using this for about two weeks now. After shampooing, my scalp feels refreshed and clean, and I haven't experienced any sensitivity or irritation. The cleansing power is really solid. The lather isn't as abundant compared to other shampoos. Other than that, I haven't noticed any downsides so far.
