The cooling effect is really strong, so it's excellent for reducing scalp heat. Since it's a dandruff-fighting shampoo, the cleansing power is fantastic. Usually, products with strong cleansing can leave hair feeling dry and straw-like, but this one doesn't have that problem as much, which I love. The lather is rich and luxurious, and there's no residue left behind, so I'd definitely recommend this to anyone with an oily scalp or those looking for a great exfoliating treatment for their scalp! The menthol ingredient is quite intense, so I wouldn't recommend this if you have a sensitive scalp. It can feel a bit harsh.

After spending a whole day at the beach in summer, washing your hair with this feels like pure bliss. It's so refreshingly cool—honestly, it feels like you're brushing your teeth with toothpaste on your scalp! The fragrance is quite strong, but I figure that's just part of the cooling shampoo experience. What surprised me is how quickly the oil builds back up, even though it cleanses so thoroughly.
