With the Y-Fine Feminine Dropper, the scent is much more subtle, so there's no sharp feeling at all, and the fragrance doesn't project outward. However, because of this, the longevity is really quite short. I don't experience period cramps, but I find that pleasant scents help reduce my stress, so fragrance is important to me. I tried applying about three drops to my sanitary pad, but the scent faded so quickly that by the time I changed it, there was barely any fragrance left. With the other brand, the scent would still be noticeable even when changing pads. I don't personally experience period odor, and it really depends on which sanitary pad you use, so I'm not entirely sure how well this product masks odors.
