I've been using this for three weeks now. It's a cream, but it doesn't feel heavy at all—actually, it's one of the lightest creams I've tried. My skin is dry and dehydrated, so I'm using it together with a bakuchiol serum. It really does deliver that moisture boost I needed!! The product itself is definitely great, but I wish it wasn't so pricey outside of sales. It would be easier on my wallet if I could grab it at regular price. Using the cream and serum together has made such a difference! I'd give this a perfect 5 stars for everything, but I have to drop it to 3 because of one deal-breaker issue. Honestly, the positives are amazing... My skin texture became so smooth, my complexion looks clearer, it feels incredibly hydrating, no more dry patches underneath, breakouts disappeared, redness calmed down, it's not greasy like other nourishing creams, my skin actually feels healthier overall, makeup applies beautifully on top of it—seriously, it was the perfect cream and I really wanted to keep using it every day, but...! The moment I apply this, my eyes start hurting really badly! I know my eyes are sensitive, but this causes so much pain that I've been using artificial tears all day and my eyes still hurt—even my head started aching from it. I tried applying something else just around my eyes and only using this on the rest of my face, but my eyes still hurt. I didn't realize it at first, but I wondered if this could be causing the eye pain, so I switched to a different cream and the eye pain disappeared in just one day! I even had to go to the doctor because of this. It's genuinely such a great product, but I'm so disappointed... I've been using it for 4 weeks and I'm really impressed. Dr. Jart's cream is fantastic for strengthening your skin barrier and keeping your skin hydrated, so I use it consistently. The Ceramide cream especially works wonderfully for dry and sensitive skin, making it an absolute must-have during winter and seasonal transitions. The texture is rich and creamy, but it spreads smoothly and evenly on your skin, filling it with moisture all the way through. After application, my skin stays dewy and comfortable for hours without any greasy shine, which I love. It's been gentle on my skin with no irritation, and it doesn't pill or shift under makeup, which is perfect for my routine. That said, if you have oily skin, you might find it a bit heavy. Overall, this is a moisturizing cream I'd strongly recommend to anyone whose skin tends to get dry easily or feels sensitive. Apply evenly across your entire face. I've been using this for a month now, and the most noticeable change is how much more even my skin tone has become. The cream itself has a soft lavender tint and the texture is incredibly creamy, almost like whipped cream. If you don't have super sensitive skin, this should work beautifully for you.
