This mask is absolutely packed with cica, which is perfect for sensitive skin. The sheet mask itself is so gentle and soothing that it won't irritate your skin at all. The cica ingredient really gives you that peace of mind, making it safe and comfortable for even the most sensitive complexions to use. I'm really happy with this product - no irritation, no breakouts, and it's working beautifully for me!

Honestly, over 15 years I've tried pretty much every famous German and French skincare brand, most of the department store lines, and popular drugstore products, but one of the few items that's stayed on my vanity is Dr. Jart+ skincare essentials. Since Dr. Jart+ is pricey, I stuck with the ceramide line I was already using and never tried their new cica line (especially the mask pack—I completely ignored it, haha). When I first opened it, there was a clear serum liquid inside, and when I rubbed it on the back of my hand, it felt non-irritating and absorbed super fast. I usually avoid mask packs because I hate that sticky feeling, but this one really lives up to its name. The serum soothing mask... it felt like applying a serum, so fresh and clean. The ceramide line has a yellowish tone that sometimes feels like I'm applying egg yolk, but the cica line is transparent, which I love. When you apply it to your face, it's not a white non-woven mask—it's transparent and shimmery like potato starch. After you leave it on for a while and it dries completely, it becomes thin like tissue paper, but it definitely doesn't feel like non-woven material. Non-woven masks dry quickly and stick to facial hair, making it itchy and uncomfortable. It feels like they really understood what sensitive skin people want and did serious research, which I appreciate. It's perfect for calming irritated skin. It doesn't have that sticky aloe vera feeling—it's refreshingly light, which I think is because it has a similar texture to regular serums you'd use at home. Plus, it's fragrance-free, so it doesn't feel like typical skincare—it's more like having a thin layer of potato starch on, which is kind of fun, haha. I imagine it would feel amazing on a hot summer day when your skin is heated up by the sun. You definitely need to refrigerate it. Since it's expensive, I can't use it every day, but it's worth keeping one in the fridge as an emergency soothing treatment instead of aloe or cucumber masks. I've visited several stores in my neighborhood recently, and while they have other Dr. Jart+ skincare essentials, this mask pack is hard to find. Unless you go to a big store, you probably have to buy it online.

I really appreciated how this product calms and soothes the skin without causing irritation The price point is quite steep, so I find myself hesitant to use it regularly

It instantly calms down the redness and irritation on my skin so effectively that once I saw the difference, I've been loyal to this product ever since. The price is quite steep for a sheet mask, unfortunately. I'd recommend waiting for a sale to grab it at a better price. When my skin is irritated and my moisture barrier is compromised, this mask is like a lifesaver. I use it to quickly soothe the inflammation, and then I finish with a barrier cream to lock everything in. Honestly, I haven't found a better emergency treatment for stressed skin than this combination.
