Biotin is recommended for improving hair and nail growth. I purchased a trial size of this product, but the expiration date was quite short, which meant I could only use it for less than a month before it expired. During that time, I can't say I noticed dramatic changes in my hair or nails, but they didn't get worse either, and I didn't experience any digestive issues while taking it. Of course, to see real results, I might need to use it for a longer period. I didn't notice any downsides either. I got a great deal on this, so I had over two months to really test it out. The expiration date goes all the way to March 14th, which gave me plenty of time. After consistently using it for weeks, I've noticed some amazing results - my hair sheds way less after shampooing, and my nails are noticeably stronger. It's winter right now, and if I'm seeing these kinds of improvements already, I'm definitely going to stock up for summer. Oh, and I even got my fiancé to try it a few times.
