I was curious about this product because I love cream toners, and it didn't disappoint. The retinol really helped improve my skin texture. You'll experience strengthened skin barrier and soothing benefits all at once. I really loved that this retinol formula is gentle enough for sensitive skin, so I could use it without worry. For me, there wasn't really anything that stood out. When you need that hydration boost, use this as a toner and you'll get a lovely dewy finish with amazing moisture that really locks in. If you have oily skin, be careful not to overdo it since it can feel a bit greasy, so just use a light hand or apply it sparingly.

Even though it contains retinoid, I haven't experienced any major breakouts, which makes it such a great product. The price is a bit steep for the amount you get, but it's worth it. If you have oily skin, this might feel a little heavy for you. The price is a bit steep considering the amount of product you receive. Since my skin is sensitive, I didn't use it every single day.

I usually don't prefer using cream toner as my first skincare step, but this product is surprisingly lightweight and works really well for me. I also love that it helps improve pore elasticity and firmness. This is hands down my favorite product from the Doctor Oracle retinol line. While their ampoules and creams tend to clog my pores and cause occasional breakouts with some redness, this one is incredibly gentle and doesn't irritate my skin at all. I used to struggle with retinol products because they'd leave my skin feeling parched underneath, but since this is a cream toner, it actually hydrates deeply while keeping my complexion plump and dewy. The price point is pretty steep, honestly. It's frustrating because their ampoules and creams go on sale regularly, but this one rarely gets discounted. Plus, the dispenser is just a basic pump opening, which makes it inconvenient to use. I wish it had a proper pump mechanism instead. Since it's a cream toner, I love using it as a layering step. I apply this toner about three times in succession, then follow up with my regular moisturizing cream. The result is amazing—my skin looks luminous and poreless in the morning, almost like I've just done a gentle rice water cleanse.
