I was wondering if it would gently cleanse without irritation while removing excess oil, and it really does! I haven't found anything like it yet... still searching for that perfect match

That said, the azulene soothing gel and azulene cleansing are actually pretty decent. I used to buy the PH formula cleansing product (around 70,000 won), but it was so expensive. Since I've been happy with other brands anyway, I switched over. But honestly, the cleansing power is really disappointing. Even after double cleansing, makeup doesn't come off completely. I think that's why I've been getting some folliculitis flare-ups. I don't even wear heavy makeup—just a BB cream—so that's frustrating. It feels like a waste of money. I haven't worn heavy makeup, so I can't really speak to how well it removes visible color cosmetics. But it seems to cleanse gently and effectively. You know how that squeaky-clean feeling isn't actually ideal for your skin, right? Since this cleanser is so gentle, you might not get that intense scrubbing sensation, but honestly, if it's good enough for professional estheticians to use, that's a solid endorsement. The downside is the fragrance. Even though they added fragrance to it, the scent is pretty underwhelming. I've been using this since it launched and I'm really impressed. It cleanses beautifully, and my skin was incredibly reactive before, but my skin barrier has genuinely improved so much. I can't really think of any downsides, except maybe I wish it came in a larger size. So gentle and non-irritating - I'm definitely buying this again! I usually keep my makeup pretty minimal, just a light cushion foundation, a touch of blush, and a dab of lipstick. I'm not one for heavy makeup, so I just use Chantecaille Milk to remove my makeup and rinse with water. My skin is super sensitive, and even the slightest bit of harsh cleansing makes me break out like crazy. I don't even do a second cleanse. When I went for a facial, the esthetician told me my skin barrier was compromised, and that too much cleansing irritation would only make things worse. Despite all that, this product passed the test with flying colors - zero irritation, nothing left behind. Love it! Nothing to complain about. I usually avoid repurchasing products, but this one? The scent is... hmm... I'm not sure what else to say to fill out this review, but honestly, it's just expensive for what you get. That's really my main disappointment with it. The cleansing power is honestly terrible. It doesn't seem to remove mineral sunscreen or foundation effectively at all. If you're wearing a thicker layer of foundation, this just won't cut it. I thought I was getting something professional-grade from a salon brand, but I just ended up regretting the purchase.
