This is my absolute favorite product! I apply it all over my face right when I wake up, give myself a little massage, let it sit for 10 minutes, and then rinse it off. I choose my skincare essentials based on four criteria: First, calming redness and reducing flushing Second, deep hydration for dehydrated skin Third, smoothing texture and minimizing pores Fourth, controlling excess oil and breakouts During winter, after cleansing without towel-drying, I warm 3-4 drops in my palms and gently press it onto my face before starting my regular routine. This keeps my skin comfortable even under heating. Since switching to the larger size, I also apply it to my body right after showering. When I mix this brand's soothing gel with jojoba oil in a 2:0.5 ratio, it transforms into a creamy texture. I can leave it on like a mask for 15 minutes, or I let it dry as much as possible, gently remove it with a spatula, and rinse with water like a wash-off mask. The esthetician mentioned this balances skin's oil and moisture, improving texture. I use it in the morning on important days or when I need better makeup application. Adjust the ratio based on your skin type. When my skin is compromised before my period, I apply a modeling mask followed by a generous layer of this mixture, and the texture and redness improve noticeably. Whether you buy just the soothing gel or jojoba oil, they usually give samples. Try mixing them together instead of using separately. Since I have really dry skin, this has been a lifesaver during winter! I mix it into my cream, I mix it into my mist, and the hydration is absolutely incredible!! This is my life-changing oil! I'm so satisfied that I'm already on my fourth bottle! (I skip it during summer though!) The price is a bit steep, and the glass container is really heavy, which is a bummer. I wish the packaging was lighter! I've been using it morning and night throughout winter, and I'm loving it! When I apply it lightly in the morning, my makeup stays put without any creasing!
