The application was incredibly smooth with zero stickiness! I usually avoid emulsions because they tend to feel tacky if you're not careful, but I trust Doctor Deep's Cica line completely! It really does wonders for troubled skin, and I'm already on my second bottle. I apply it every single day without fail, and I've even noticed a brightening effect! Honestly, there's nothing I'd change about this product! The texture and feel are absolutely fantastic. I use a lot of Doctor Deep products for my skincare routine. My typical regimen is mist, then serum, then emulsion, and I love it because every single product applies beautifully without any issues!

It applies smoothly without any sticky residue. I had to stop using this product because it triggered breakouts and made my acne worse, especially along my jawline and neck. While the texture was light and moisturizing, it left my skin feeling coated and suffocated. Looking at the ingredients, I suspect the seaweed extract might be the culprit. It turns out I'm just not compatible with products that create that heavy, occlusive feeling on my skin. I switched back to my original cream, and thankfully the breakouts calmed down, but unfortunately I was left with some post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. I'm using this as a night cream for my oily skin. It feels like my skin really grips onto the cream, and it seems to fill in my pores beautifully. Since it contains centella asiatica extract, I notice my skin feels calmer and more soothed. The tight, gripping sensation might feel a bit heavy or suffocating for some people's skin. I picked this up on a whim and I'm really impressed! The ingredients are fantastic, and the texture hits that perfect sweet spot—it's not too heavy or too light. I think this will work beautifully all year round, no matter the season. No downsides really. The price is pretty reasonable too, and if you shop around, you can snag it for around twenty dollars or so.

It spreads beautifully across the skin and creates a protective barrier. This cica cream is absolutely wonderful for anyone dealing with dry skin and dehydration! I have combination skin, but it leans more toward the oily side. After using this product a few times, I developed what looked like contact dermatitis with tiny bumps all over and red patches that became inflamed. This happens to me whenever I use products with pore-clogging ingredients. I searched through the ingredient list and couldn't find anything obviously problematic, so I looked up which ingredients are known to clog pores online. That's when I discovered that brown algae extracts have a pretty high risk of pore congestion. Since this product contains extracts from brown seaweed like kelp and kombu, that's likely what triggered my reaction. While I'm relieved to have finally identified an ingredient that doesn't work for my skin, I spent a full week working hard to calm down those little bumps. That said, because this is such a hydrating product, I think it would be a great match for people with dry skin! The scent is pleasant and not off-putting at all, and it applies so smoothly. I love how hydrating it is and that it doesn't irritate my skin. The amount of product you get doesn't quite match the price point. I wish they offered a larger size option. My skin was feeling dry, so I reapplied it throughout the day, and it didn't pill or feel heavy. My skin was getting red and irritated from the cold weather, and I had fine lines and minor irritation, but this product has really helped improve all of that. Plus, my makeup applies so much better now! I don't really have any complaints or disappointments. I have skin that occasionally breaks out in blemishes. When I applied the cica cream, I was amazed at how quickly the irritation calmed down in just a day or two. While other cica creams feel a bit like ointment, Doctor Deep's cica cream is lightweight and applies smoothly while still feeling hydrating, so my makeup goes on beautifully. The fragrance is almost nonexistent, which some people might actually prefer, but I wish it had a bit more scent. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it, but I'd love if the price were a bit more affordable (I know, I know—consumer greed!). That would make it perfect. Apply generously the night before you need flawless makeup. Apply generously on the day you're doing your makeup.

I picked this up during the one-for-one event and decided to test it out by applying it generously all over my face. I usually don't do well with fermented skincare products, but this centella works beautifully for me. Starting the very next day, I could feel my skin texture becoming smoother and more refined. In the photo, I just did my basic routine with a toner and emulsion, followed by a centella cream, and then applied only a cushion foundation on top. Since I'm in my pre-period phase right now, I'd normally expect at least one breakout on my cheeks, but there's nothing. I'm definitely keeping one jar at home for skin calming and carrying another with me everywhere. It's so thick that I feel like I'll go through it really quickly. I wish they offered a larger size. After applying it all over, if you layer an extra generous amount on problem areas, you'll notice the breakouts calm down much faster.
