My lips have been chronically dry and cracked, and it happens even in summer. I've tried so many expensive products, but nothing compares to this one. It's truly hydrating and silky smooth. I actually picked this up on a whim while shopping for toner without expecting much, but now I'm genuinely worried it might be discontinued. I need to keep stocking up on it. It's pricey. I've been using Doctor Deep Multi-Cleansing Skin Emulsion regularly, and it's never irritated my sensitive skin. I've been happy with my Kiehl's lip balm, but since it comes in a tube, I was concerned about hygiene. When I heard about Doctor Deep Lip Balm, I decided to give it a try as a potential switch. I've been using Doctor Deep Moisture Emulsion and I'm satisfied with my Kiehl's lip balm. I tried the complimentary lip balm they gave me, but when I woke up the next morning, my lips were noticeably swollen, possibly from the shea butter. My lips are constantly dry all year round, so I literally can't live without lip balm. I've tried so many different brands over the time - Burt's Bees, Uriage, Kiehl's, you name it - but this product is by far my favorite. The application is smooth, the formula is excellent, the price is reasonable, and I love the packaging too. I have no complaints about the product itself. The only downside is that I keep losing it because I'm so forgetful. That's really the only thing I wish was different. Make sure to apply this before putting on your lipstick. This is hands down the best lip balm I've ever tried. I have dermatitis on my lips from eczema, so normally any product I apply makes my lips red, itchy, and no matter how many times I reapply, they stay dry. But this one? It's genuinely moisturizing when I put it on, and my lips stay hydrated all the way until morning. Yes, it's pricey, but honestly, it's so worth it. Please don't discontinue this product! I'm not sure if there was a reformulation, but this product just doesn't work for me anymore. I've been using it for years without any issues, but now when I wake up after applying it overnight, my lips are swollen and tender. It seems like the lip balm has changed. The only downside is the price point is a bit steep. I'll update my review after using it for a few more months. Here's what I thought at first: I was disappointed with the value for money, but... the more I use it, the better it spreads and the more hydrating it becomes. Nothing works quite like this for removing dead skin. I apply a generous layer and after just 30 minutes, it softens beautifully. When I gently rub it, the dead skin just flakes right off. My lips become so smooth, yet I'm removing dead skin every single day. Even with daily use, fresh dead skin keeps appearing. ------------------ No harmful ingredients Lightweight feel The scent is pleasant and not off-putting Doesn't remove dead skin very effectively After using it for a few months, I have no complaints. I'm completely satisfied with it based on my standards. ------------------ The staying power is weak, so it dries out after 2 hours The hydration doesn't penetrate deep enough, it just sits on the surface Even when I apply it to the corners of my mouth, it feels tight and dry It doesn't remove dead skin well, so my lip condition doesn't seem to improve much Apply a generous amount and leave it for just 30 minutes and it will soften.
