Love it! Just a heads up though - this essence serum might be too rich for oily skin types. It's perfect if you want to use it as a foundation primer instead! If you're looking for a lightweight feel, you might want to skip this one. I picked this up at Olive Young and even got the special set bundle! Honestly, when you apply this, you feel like a completely different person! It's so incredibly hydrating and the skin brightening effect is amazing! Once I put this on and do my makeup, my complexion just looks flawless... There's really nothing to complain about! The only thing is the brightening effect doesn't show up as well in photos, but in person it makes such a huge difference! You just need to be careful with how much you use. This essence serum has a slightly oily formula with tone-up capsules mixed in. Hydrating and moisturizing - absolutely yes! These types of products tend to dry out easily, and I usually feel that inner dryness creeping in after a while, even if I don't have extremely dry skin. But this one stays noticeably more hydrated and moisturized compared to other products. Clear, luminous finish - absolutely yes! This feels like the perfect middle ground between a foundation-free sunscreen and a simple tone-evening sunscreen. So I'd say it's basically a foundation-free sunscreen that gives you that beautiful, clear complexion. I absolutely loved how it delivers that clean, luminous look without any heavy or sticky feeling. Ingredients - absolutely yes! The ingredients are genuinely excellent. It's crazy because there are so many products with mediocre performance that also have questionable ingredients, but this one has such clean, quality ingredients relative to how well it actually performs. That's what really impressed me. Great compatibility with makeup - absolutely yes! These color-pigmented products usually don't blend well when you layer makeup on top, and even if they seem fine at first, they often get really heavy and uncomfortable as time goes on. But this one plays really nicely with makeup. Since my current cushion foundation is a bit too dark, I used this to brighten my skin first, then applied the cushion a little thinner than usual, and I was completely satisfied with the result. A bit tedious to apply. Since this is a product that adheres to the skin and changes color during application, the whole process can feel a little annoying. Especially when I want to apply a bit more to certain areas, it gets a bit tricky and awkward. When you want to add a bit more, it works better if you rub it in your hands first and then apply it to your skin.
