It has a slightly firm texture, but when you scoop it up and apply it, it spreads smoothly and evenly across your lips. The color payoff is subtle yet beautiful, and it applies with a lovely finish. A silicone lip brush doesn't work well with this formula since it doesn't melt easily, so I find it more convenient to apply it directly with my fingertips. I was so thrilled to hear that the My Beige Log collection just launched! The Lip and Cheek Glow Balm comes in 7 gorgeous shades, and I've been using the [05 Wavy] shade. See how it melts beautifully into the skin with zero stiffness? Look at that radiant glow on my thumb—that's the natural luminosity this balm gives you. I have deeper, golden-toned skin and typically wear cushion shade 23, so products with too much white cast or overly saturated colors tend to look patchy and float on my complexion. But Wavy? It doesn't budge at all—it clings perfectly to my skin. I compared it to my beloved Clinique Cheek Pop in 17 Black Honey Pop, which is one of my favorites. When I blend the Clinique shade, it creates a similar tone to this balm, but for warm undertones, Wavy feels like the absolute perfect match. Among all the warm-toned blushes I have at home—including other brands and formulas—this balm is genuinely the most seamless and flattering option for my skin tone! Applying it with your fingers works fine, but having a dedicated brush or applicator tool would really make the experience even better. I genuinely recommend this product for deeper skin tones. Since it's a tinted formula, it applies beautifully on the lips too.
