It's a product with tiny sea salt granules that you can use alone before shampooing or mix directly with shampoo. I've tried both methods, and mixing it with shampoo worked best for me—it allowed me to massage and care for my scalp smoothly and comfortably without any resistance! The cleansing power is really effective. The texture felt a bit rough on my scalp. Since I have oily, prone-to-buildup hair, I really appreciated the cooling sensation it provided. The cleansing was way too harsh and actually caused my scalp to hurt, so I had to stop using it. This scalp scrub does a fantastic job of clearing away flakes and buildup while leaving your scalp feeling refreshed. The cleansing power is really impressive too. While the cleansing strength is excellent, those with color-treated hair should be aware that it may cause your color to fade more quickly, so you'll want to use it with caution.

This product does an amazing job removing buildup and impurities from my scalp, leaving it feeling incredibly clean and refreshed. After using it, my scalp feels so invigorated and my roots have noticeably more volume and lift. I was really impressed by the high salt content at 450,000ppm - it makes such a difference. The cooling and soothing effects on my scalp are fantastic, and I'm definitely planning to repurchase this product! I've tried a lot of scalp scrubbers and salt shampoos, but this one has the perfect consistency. The nozzle is small so it doesn't make a mess, and the bottle is absolutely gorgeous. I get a lot of flaking around my hairline in the back, and when I gently massage this product in and rinse it out, it feels incredibly refreshing. The price is honestly quite steep. Since you end up using a generous amount each time, it runs out pretty quickly.
