I used this instead of foundation on my way to work and I absolutely loved it. My skin looked so bright and radiant! My skin looks amazing even without foundation. If you have oily skin, you're going to absolutely love this formula. I've been using this product for 3 years and have gone through 6 bottles already - I absolutely love it! It works great for a foundation-free look too! It functions as a sunscreen, gives a brightening effect, and provides decent coverage. This is definitely a staple I'll be using for life! My only wish is that the price point were a bit more affordable - it's definitely an investment. My skin looks refined and clean. The staying power is impressive. When I use it alone, I feel like it settles into my pores. (I have very enlarged pores, especially on my nose and cheekbones.) If you don't have pore-prone skin like mine, it should work fine for you. My skin texture looks so refined and the tone-evening effect is beautifully natural, which I absolutely love. However, it does settle slightly into my pores. Since I have very pore-prone skin, it's such a shame to miss out on this sunscreen because of just that one issue. When I mix it with a pore primer, it covers everything beautifully. I mix a small amount of Hourglass Primer Veil with a small amount of Guerlain L'Or. Perfect for days when you can't be bothered with a full makeup routine. Just apply a moisturizing cream beforehand, and you won't have to worry about dryness or flaking. My skin tone is fair with light undertones, falling between shades 17-21, and I have sensitive skin that's prone to breakouts. I applied this after completing my toner, hydrating essence, and sunscreen routine. Pore Coverage This is honestly the main reason I decided to buy this product! I didn't know much about the brand initially, but when a friend showed me how their pores were blurred even with just sunscreen, I immediately asked about it and purchased it. I used to stick with foundation because my face felt suffocated, and I wanted to try a tinted moisturizer, but my nose pores are so large I gave up. However, even with a thin application, the pores are covered so well that you'd barely notice them up close - I was genuinely impressed! The pore coverage holds up nicely for about 6-7 hours. Natural Tint There's a slight white cast, but it's not overwhelming at all. Some other tinted moisturizers look way too pale and chalky, but this one blends naturally into the skin, which I loved. Based on shades 17-21, it brightens by about half a shade. Adherence When I apply it thinly and tap it in, it adheres immediately and creates a natural, beautiful finish right away - it's actually fun to apply! There's no creasing or sliding either. Semi-Foundation Feel The color itself is a beige shade like a foundation, so it has that semi-foundation or makeup base quality to it. The coverage is also slightly better compared to other tinted moisturizers. Matte Finish If you have oily skin, especially in summer, you'll be satisfied with this finish. It dries down smooth and powdery without making your hair stick to your face - it feels incredibly lightweight. Transfers onto Masks Because the product is beige-toned, it transfers onto masks like foundation would. It occasionally gets on my white clothes too, which is disappointing, though I understand it's just how it is. Pilling and Breakdown For the first month of use, it held up reasonably well, but as I continued using it, I started noticing some pilling, which was a letdown. Also, pore clogging around the nose area is another drawback I noticed. I found that applying it thinly with a spatula and then tapping it in with a sponge or puff gives a matte, well-adhered finish that I really liked. If I apply it with my fingers, the adhesion is so strong that I end up using more product than I need.
