I have monolids with straight lashes that tend to smudge easily, and mascara doesn't always apply smoothly. But this product does a great job holding everything in place! I stuck with it for about a year before switching to Etude's Curl Fix, but honestly, if mascara doesn't work well for you normally, or if you have trouble with application, this should definitely do the trick for you. I really can't think of any downsides. Etude's mascara is the best. The coverage is adjustable, the design is gorgeous, and if you're going for a natural makeup look, I absolutely recommend it! I absolutely love how this enhances my curl definition and reduces smudging throughout the day. The formula holds up beautifully without breaking down. Removal can be a bit tricky, and on lazy days I wish it came off more easily. It does make my eyes feel a little heavier, which is disappointing.

The staying power is excellent. It applies smoothly without clumping, and for the price, the application quality is really impressive. Since it's my first time using this product, I'm not sure if I'm applying it correctly, but it started to smudge and fade as time went on. I had to keep touching up my makeup throughout the day.
