I absolutely love that this product keeps that classic, nostalgic vibe alive even now. I'm so grateful it's still around. The price remains incredibly affordable. It applies smoothly and effortlessly. The color payoff is vibrant and punchy. I'm thrilled they've expanded the shade range so much. If you apply it carelessly, it stains quickly and can be tricky to fix. That said, it does fade pretty fast when you eat or drink, so you'll need to reapply frequently. On dry lips alone, it can actually emphasize flakiness and texture more than you'd like. It works beautifully when you layer it with a hydrating lip product to create a gradient effect.

I kept asking for them to bring back that classic tint from way back, and they finally did! That iconic tint is back with all its sparkle. The water tint has all those signature features we loved. I got so nostalgic that I picked up this tint again, but honestly I haven't been doing my makeup much lately. I'm not sure what's disappointing about it. The color is gorgeous and has such a sweet, delicious feel to it. The pigmentation is absolutely incredible! The color payoff lasts a really long time, which I personally love. This is such a perfect match for anyone with cool undertones, especially during winter. I keep coming back to it because it works so well for me. The downside is that since it's a water tint, it does tend to emphasize dry patches and flakiness on my skin. Perfect for my cool-toned summer look. Since I have naturally darker lips, this has become my go-to tint for life. It looks purple in the tube, but applies so naturally on the lips. The staying power isn't quite as strong as the cherry red tint, but that's okay. Dear Darling is a nostalgic tint I used back in my school days, and they've released new shades! It's still an affordable tint with great value for money, and because it has excellent color payoff, the wear time is really impressive. I use it solo as a base layer since the shade is quite deep and dark, and then I apply a gradient effect on the inner lip for dimension! But here's the thing - it's only been a year since I bought it, and suddenly the color started separating somehow. The other Dear Darling tints I got at the same time are fine, but only this one is doing this. I'm really puzzled about what could be causing it. It looks great on cool undertones and the color is beautiful, but something feels a bit off about it The application is terrible - no matter how carefully I apply it, it just sits on my lips without blending. The one on the right in the photo is Sweet Potato Red. Dear Darling Water Gel Tint is honestly a product I absolutely love. Among the Dear Darling Water Gel Tint shades, this color just wasn't my style.
